Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for controlling smart wear. The apparatus for controlling smart wear includes a motion capture unit, an error information unit, a motion estimation unit, and an actuation unit. The motion capture unit captures a motion of a user using sensors included in the smart wear. Then error information unit generates user error information using reference motion information and the results of the motion capture. The motion estimation unit estimates a subsequent motion of the user using the user error information. The actuation unit controls the smart wear of the user in real time using the estimated subsequent motion and the user error information.

Apparatus and method for controlling smart wear

Provided is a beta voltaic battery including a first semiconductor layer, a second semiconductor layer, and a beta-ray generator which is disposed between the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer and includes a metal substrate having both sides coated with a radioisotope layer. The beta voltaic battery according to the present invention has no sealing layer, but may efficiently shield beta rays through a sandwich structure. Since the sealing layer is absent, the absorption of beta rays by the semiconductor may be improved, and excellent energy conversion efficiency may be obtained because output is improved due to the two semiconductor layers and the radioisotope ray source coated on the both sides.

This invention relates to a radioisotope battery and a method of manufacturing the same, wherein manufacturing the radioisotope battery and shielding radiation emitted from the radioisotope Ni-63 from the outside are achieved simultaneously. Radioisotope battery and manufacturing method thereof

An apparatus and method for transmitting data using a human body. The apparatus includes a parallel bit stream generation unit, a frequency selective spreading unit, a matched filter unit, and a transmission filter unit. The parallel bit stream generation unit outputs a parallel bit stream for an input serial bit stream. The frequency selective spreading unit divides the parallel bit stream into a preset number of bit groups, generates a single code vector by combining orthogonal code vectors corresponding to the respective bit groups, and shifts the center frequency of a transmission signal by spreading the single code vector using a frequency shift code. The transmission filter unit meets a transmit mask for the transmission signal.

Apparatus and method for transmitting data using human body

Provided is a mobile transmitter and a transmitting method thereof. The mobile transmitter includes a transmission circuit and a control circuit. The transmission circuit selectively operates as a polar transmitter or a direct-conversion transmitter. The control circuit controls an operation of the transmission circuit based on the level of an output signal. The mobile transmitter operates as a direct-conversion transmitter using a linear power amplifier with a high dynamic range when it transmits a low-power signal. Also, the mobile transmitter operates as a polar transmitter using a switching power amplifier with a high power efficiency when it transmits a medium-power or high-power signal. Thus, the mobile transmitter according to the present invention can provide both the high power efficiency (i.e., the advantage of the switching power amplifier) and the high dynamic range (i.e., the advantage of the linear power amplifier). Consequently, it possible to increase the battery lifetime of a personal portable communication terminal and also to implement to a compound terminal that can satisfy a variety of communication standards with a high dynamic range.

Mobile transmitter and transmitting method thereof

A low power consuming mixed mode power amplifier which includes: a low output amplifier circuit generating a power amplified result having high efficiency in a low output mode that is most frequently used; a high output amplifier circuit generating an amplified result having high linearity in a high output mode of a region consuming the most power; and an amplifier controller selectively activating the low and high output amplifier circuits according to a power level of an input signal. The high and low output amplifier circuits have a predetermined gain difference.
