An apparatus for forming an alignment film and a method for fabricating a liquid crystal display panel using the same are disclosed. A steam inspecting unit for inspecting a defective alignment film is disposed for two lines of rubbing equipment, so that a facility investment expense can be reduced and a space of a clean room can be effectively utilized. The apparatus for forming an alignment film comprises a rubbing equipment comprising at least one rubbing unit; and an alignment film inspecting unit installed between the two lines of rubbing equipment and inspecting an alignment film formed on a substrate.

Method for fabricating liquid crystal display panel using the same

A roll stocker includes a plurality of roll fixing units for fixing a plurality of rubbing rolls; shaft connection parts having a plurality of radially extended end portions connected with each roll fixing unit; and a rotational shaft for fixing the center of the shaft connection parts and rotating the shaft connection parts. A plurality of rubbing rolls can be rotated, and by keeping the plurality of rubbing rolls in storage in the closed roll stocker, contamination of a rubbing cloth due to external particles can be prevented, space utilization can be enhanced, and deviation of eccentricity of the rubbing rolls kept in storage can be prevented.

Roll stocker and method for fabricating liquid crystal display device using the same

An LCD device and a method for manufacturing the same is disclosed, in which it is possible to correct a problem of insufficient or excessive supply of liquid crystal in an LCD device by controlling an amount of liquid crystal. The method includes preparing a liquid crystal cell comprised of a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, and a first sealant formed in the periphery of the liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; measuring an amount of liquid crystal provided to the inside of liquid crystal cell; forming an inlet for liquid crystal in the first sealant; and regulating the amount of liquid crystal by supplying or discharging the liquid crystal through the inlet; and sealing the inlet.

Methods of manufacturing liquid crystal display devices

A roll stocker and a method for fabricating a liquid crystal display device using the same are disclosed. The roll stocker is constructed by multi-stage, of which roll keeping units of an upper stage can be moved left and right so that a rubbing roll at the lower stage can be easily taken out. Thus, space utilization can be enhanced and rolls can be stably kept. The roll stocker formed by two stages includes an upper stage installed at an upper side of a lower stage used as a support; a plurality of roll keeping units positioned at the upper and lower stages and keeping rubbing rolls; and a moving unit installed between the upper and lower stages and moving the roll keeping units of the upper stage.

Provided is an apparatus for cleaning a rubbing-cloth. The apparatus includes a rubbing-cloth fixing unit, a pile removing head, and a transferring unit. The rubbing-cloth fixing unit is fixed to a base body and fixes a rubbing-cloth that is substantially unfolded. The pile removing head is disposed on the rubbing-cloth fixing unit and sucks and removes the piles attached onto the rubbing-cloth. The transferring unit is fixed to the base body and transfers the pile removing head along an upper surface of the rubbing-cloth with respect to the rubbing-cloth fixing unit. Accordingly, particles that are generated when a rubbing-cloth is cut out from a fabric are quickly removed from the rubbing-cloth, so that scratches may be prevented from being generated on an alignment film.

Apparatus of cleaning rubbing-cloth

An apparatus for inspecting an alignment film and a method for fabricating a liquid crystal display device using the same are disclosed. By changing a spraying structure of a steam inspecting unit to check whether an alignment film is defective or not, a water splash phenomenon can be prevented and spraying can be performed uniformly on a large-scale glass. The apparatus for inspecting an alignment film comprises a first steam generating unit for generating first steam; a second steam generating unit for generating second steam by using the first steam as a heat source; and a steam spraying unit for spraying the second steam onto a substrate of a substrate to inspect an alignment film formed on the substrate.
