Disclosed is a household appliance comprising: a door; a door lock unit equipped with a hook part which is configured to unlock and open the door by moving outward; a motor configured to generate torque by using electricity; a driving gear unit which has a rotary shaft at one end portion and is configured to rotate by receiving the torque from the motor, wherein the one end portion pushes the hook unit to the outside of the door lock unit to open the door when the driving gear unit rotates in one direction; a sensing unit configured to sense the displacement of the other end portion of the driving gear unit when the hook unit moves to the inside of the door lock unit, wherein the other end portion rotates in the opposite direction about the rotary shaft of the driving gear unit; and a control unit configured to control the operation of the motor on the basis of the displacement, sensed by the sensing unit, of the other end of the driving gear unit.

Household appliance

A dishwasher includes a tub, a spray arm, and a spray arm. The spray arm includes an arm body that defines a plurality of channels that are partitioned from each other and that are configured to carry washing water and a plurality of spray holes configured to discharge washing water from the plurality of channels toward the washing objects. The spray arm further includes a chamber disposed vertically below the arm body and configured to communicate with the plurality of channels; a channel guider configured to supply washing water from the spray arm holder to the chamber; and a channel switch unit accommodated in the chamber and configured to open and close at least a portion of the plurality of channels.

Dishwasher

A dishwasher and a control method thereof are disclosed. The dishwasher includes a tub accommodating an object to be washed, a spray arm rotatably provided inside the tub to spray wash water toward the object to be washed, a sump for storing wash water and collecting wash water sprayed into the tub therein, a filter separably mounted to the sump to remove foreign substances from wash water, a wash pump for supplying wash water stored in the sump to the spray arm, and a circulation passage for diverting at least a portion of the wash water supplied to the spray arm by the wash pump to the sump. After the dishes are washed, all of the wash water introduced into the wash pump is diverted into the filter. Foreign substances present in the wash water are collected in the filter and are discharged outside along with the wash water.

A dishwasher includes: a tub which defines a space in which dishes are washed; a sump which accommodates washing water to be supplied into the tub; and a descaling solution supply device which supplies a descaling solution to the sump, in which the descaling solution supply device includes: a main flow path which guides washing water to be supplied to the sump; a solution accommodating unit which accommodates a descaling agent and has a solution outlet through which washing water, in which the descaling agent is dissolved, is discharged to the main flow path; a solution discharge valve which opens and closes the solution outlet; and a branch flow path which branches off from the main flow path, supplies the washing water into the solution accommodating unit, and has an atmosphere communicating port that communicates with the atmosphere.

A dishwashing machine is provided. The dishwashing machine may include a rack disposed in a tub to provide a washing space to receive objects to be washed, a water supply pump to supply wash water, a nozzle body disposed at an upper side of the rack to receive the wash water from the water supply pump, a discharge hole provided at the nozzle body to discharge the wash water supplied to the nozzle body to the rack, and an asymmetric impeller rotatably provided at the nozzle body to supply the wash water discharged from the discharge hole to at least two divided areas of the rack.

A dishwasher is disclosed that includes a tub, an upper rack and a lower rack arranged in the tub and configured to receive objects a lower arm, a water supply pump configured to supply water to the lower arm chamber, a tower nozzle included in the lower rack and configured to inject water to the upper rack, a tower connection part detachable from the detachable pipe chamber and configured to connect and supply water to the tower nozzle based on being detached from the detachable pipe chamber, and a channel change unit provided in the lower arm chamber configured to alternately open (i) the chamber communication hole and (ii) an arm channel communication hole based on water pressure inside the lower arm chamber.

The present invention relates to a flow passage change-over unit provided to a spray arm of a dishwasher having a plurality of channels, including a change-over unit body for making reciprocating movement according to a water pressure, a body rotating unit secured to an circumferential surface of the change-over unit body for rotating the change-over unit body, and channel opening holes in a closed side of the change-over unit body for opening some of the plurality of supply holes according to a rotation angle of the change-over unit body.

A dishwashing machine includes a lower arm disposed at a lower side of a lower rack to spray wash water to the lower rack, a rack fixing unit provided at the lower rack, and a tower nozzle fixed to the rack fixing unit to spray wash water to an upper rack. The dishwashing machine also includes a tower connection unit provided in the lower arm such that at least a portion of the tower connection unit is configured to move from the lower arm. The tower connection unit being connected to the tower nozzle to supply wash water to the tower nozzle based on the tower connection unit moving from the lower arm. The rack fixing unit includes a guide configured to guide movement of the tower connection unit withdrawn from the lower arm to the tower nozzle.
