In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, there is provided an apparatus for detecting rain using a wire mesh sensor including: a wire mesh which is configured to include a plurality of transmitters and a plurality of receivers; and a fixing part for fixing the wire mesh; wherein the plurality of transmitters supply electricity to the wire mesh, and wherein, in response to rain being positioned between a specific transmitter among the plurality of transmitters and a specific receiver among the plurality of receivers, the specific receiver is configured to receive the electricity from the specific transmitter and then transmit the electricity to a measuring part, to thereby allow the measuring part to measure conductivity. This hemispherical apparatus can detect rain accurately by making the incident angles of the rain to be vertical regardless of the directions of the rain.

Apparatus for detecting rain using wire mesh sensor

There is provided with a precipitation meter which includes: an upper receiver in which an upper heating unit is embedded to provide heat to an upper surface of the upper receiver to prevent snow from being accumulated thereon, wherein the upper receiver is comprised of a first inner side surface forming inner space for collecting water and a first outer side surface which is an opposite surface of the first inner side surface; a lower receiver with a funnel-shaped part, positioned underneath the upper receiver; a siphon, positioned under the center area of the funnel-shaped part; a tipping bucket unit for receiving the waterdrops from the siphon; a precipitation calculation unit for receiving information on the seesawing movement of the tipping bucket unit and calculating an amount of precipitation by referring to the seesawing movement; and a drainage unit for allowing the waterdrops to be drained out.

Apparatus for measuring precipitation with high accuracy and method for controlling the same

Disclosed is a gas injection apparatus which measures and displays a gas amount supplied to a radiosonde instrument. The gas injection apparatus includes: a body which includes an inlet port through which the gas is introduced from the storage tank, a flow passage through which the gas introduced from the inlet port flows, and an outlet port through which the gas passing through the flow passage is discharged; a valve which opens/closes the flow passage, and a flow meter which is installed in the body and is configured to measure and display the flow rate of the gas supplied to the instrument.
