A packaging machine for producing packs containing a group of cigarettes, having in a manufacturing flow direction: a forming unit for forming cigarette groups; a first folding unit at which an inner blank composed of a material suitable for forming a dimensionally stable inner pack is folded around a cigarette group to form an inner pack with the cigarette group as pack content; adjoining said first folding unit, a sealing inner pack unit in which a sealing inner pack is manufactured from the inner pack, the sealing inner pack is folded into a final state, or one sealing inner pack comprising the inner pack is manufactured; and adjoining the sealing inner pack unit, a second folding unit at which an outer blank composed of a material suitable for forming a dimensionally stable outer pack is folded around the sealing inner pack to form an outer pack.

Packaging machine for producing cigarette packs

The invention relates to a (cigarette) package consisting of an outer package () and two inner packages (). The latter can be moved by a pivoting movement about a respective articulation joint in the region of an outer base wall () out of the closed position (upright within the outer package ()) into an oblique open position. To this end a covering tab () which closes off the cup-shaped inner package () on the upper face is automatically moved out of the closed position, such that the oblique inner package () is ready for the removal of the contents of the packaging.

Cigarette package and method for production thereof

A method and apparatus for filling, closing, folding and transporting away tobacco bags () or pouches, using a turret () that rotates about a horizontal axis and has preferably six mounts (), each for one bag (), arranged along the circumference in the region of planar wall portions (). The bags are conveyed through a plurality of processing stations, in particular through a filling station, suction-extraction station, closing station and wrapping station, by the turret () with cyclic rotary movement. Cigarette packs of the hinge-lid-box type with an outer wrapping of shrinkable film are transported through a shrinkage station () in two pack rows (), in each case comprising individual packs. In the region of said shrinkage station, shrinkage elements, namely heating plates (), subject the upper side and/or lower side of the packs (), during a standstill phase of the same, to (contact) heat. The packs () are transported such that the lower side and the upper side are simultaneously or consecutively exposed for contact by the heating plates.

Apparatus or gear mechanism for producing linear movements for pushers, carry-along elements and similar elements, in particular during reciprocating movement. The pushers (,) are connected to a gear mechanism (,), in the case of which use is made exclusively of rotating or circulating elements. Each pusher (,) is connected to a lever (,) which is moved by the gear mechanism such that the connection of the lever (,) to the pusher (,) is moved exclusively on a rectilinear path.

Apparatus for producing reciprocating movements

Process and apparatus for producing bag packs each having a portion (10) of cut tobacco or the like. For the purpose of producing bag packs with portions (10) of different weights, the portions (10) are compressed in the region of a pressing chamber (14) such that the portion (10) which has to be introduced into the bag (11) is always of the same size--irrespective of the weight. During compaction, the portion (10) is simultaneously formatted so that it corresponds to the interior of the bag (11).

Process and apparatus for producing (filling) bag packs for tobacco

The aim is for packs (10) which arrive in close proximity to one another or at irregular intervals from one another to be transported further at precisely predetermined spacings from one another, for example by a removal conveyor (15). For this purpose, the incoming packs (10) are accumulated, an accumulated group (19) being formed in the process, to be precise in the region of an accumulating conveyor (29). The latter transfers individual packs (10) one after the other, in accordance with the timing of the machine, onto an intermediate conveyor (20) which feeds the packs (10) to the removal conveyor (15) at higher speed and forms the desired spacing in the process. The packs (10) remain in the same conveying plane as the precise spacings are formed between them.
