A power seat track assembly may include an elongated first rail, a second rail, a motor assembly, and a power-transfer assembly. The second rail may engage the first rail and may be movable along a length of the first rail. The motor assembly may be mounted to the second rail and may be operable to drive the second rail along the length of the first rail. The power-transfer assembly may include a first component mounted to the first rail and a second component mounted to the second rail. The first component may wirelessly transmit power to the second component. The second component may be electrically connected to the motor assembly to provide electrical current to the motor assembly.

A gear assembly for a seat adjuster includes a gear housing, a worm gear, a helical gear meshed with the worm gear, a wobble gear carried on an eccentric lobe of the helical gear, a pinion disc, a first ring gear disposed in the gear housing, a second ring gear disposed in the pinion disc, and a pinion member carrying the helical gear and the pinion disc. The wobble gear includes first and second sets of wobble gear teeth that mesh with the first and second ring gears, respectively. A housing side gear ring disposed in the gear housing defines part of the first ring gear and the gear housing defines another part of the first ring gear. The pinion disc defines the second ring gear.

Gear assembly for a seat adjuster

A gear assembly for a seat adjuster includes a gear housing, a worm gear, a helical gear meshed with the worm gear, a wobble gear carried on an eccentric lobe of the helical gear, a pinion disc, a first ring gear disposed in the gear housing, a second ring gear disposed in the pinion disc, and a pinion member carrying the helical gear and the pinion disc. The wobble gear includes first and second sets of wobble gear teeth that mesh with the first and second ring gears, respectively. A method is provided for producing a sliding rail of a longitudinal adjustment device for a vehicle seat, in which the longitudinal adjustment device has at least one pair of rails having two sliding rails and having sliding and/or rolling elements, the two sliding rails can be moved in the longitudinal direction against one another, the sliding and/or rolling elements are disposed between the sliding rails, and the sliding rails have contact tracks by which the sliding and/or rolling elements are in contact. A sliding rail is produced and then painted. Subsequently, at least one contact track is irradiated with a laser. In this way the layer of paint located on the contact track is removed.

Method and device for producing a sliding rail of a longitudinal adjustment device of a vehicle seat

A longitudinal adjustment device for a motor vehicle seat has two pairs of rails. It includes a locking device for each pair of rails. It has a common actuating unit for the two locking devices, the unit interacting with both locking devices and includes a handle. The spindle () has a spindle thread, with which the spindle nut () is engaged. The spindle () is curved in a circular radius of curvature (). The radius of curvature () is between 1,500 and 3,000 mm. The spindle nut () is a straight nut.

An actuator for an electric adjusting device of a vehicle seat has several adjusting functions. A length adjustable steering column module for a motor vehicle has a support beam attachable to the motor vehicle. The module includes a steering column rotatable about a longitudinal axis, and has an upper and a lower steering tube. The upper steering tube is displaceable in the direction of the longitudinal axis and is non-rotatably connected to the lower steering tube. An adjusting device adjusts the distance of the upper steering tube from the lower steering tube. A jacket tube has an annular area, a crash member, and an upper and a lower end portion, the upper end portion grasps around the upper steering tube, and axially fixes and rotatably supports the upper steering tube. A central bearing is disposed between the annular area and the upper steering tube. The crash member, located between the central bearing and the lower end portion, shortens in the event of an accident.

A wobble joint fitting for a vehicle seat has a first joint arm, which carries an internal gear and forms a first bearing surface, which are central to a main axis, and a second joint arm to which an eccentric gear is allocated, which comprises an externally toothed pinion and a second bearing surface. The pinion and the second bearing surface are central to an eccentric axis. An eccentric driving part is disposed in the area between the first bearing surface and the second bearing surface. Clamping parts, in a clamping state, displace the eccentric axis relative to the main axis. The eccentric driving part defines the eccentric. The rotary drive of the eccentric driving part causes a rotation of the pinion relative to the internal gear even without the clamping parts being present, wherein only play compensation is not obtained without the presence of the clamping parts.

An adjustable hinge mountings has a first hinge arm, a second hinge arm, a toothed quadrant centered on a hinge axis and connected to the first hinge arm, a detent part which has a toothed surface feature cooperating with the toothed quadrant and a control part associated with the detent part. The hinge arms can be pivoted between an active angular range in which the detent part is allowed to engage the toothed quadrant and a passive angular range in which the detent part is not located opposite the toothed quadrant so that the detent part is not allowed to engage the toothed quadrant. In the passive angular range, the detent part is retained by the control part in a passive position in which it is not in the range of movement of the toothed quadrant. In the active angular range, the detent part adopts an active position in which the detent part can be brought into engagement with the toothed quadrant. When passing from the passive angular range to the active angular range, the toothed quadrant actuates the control part either directly or indirectly.

The actuator for a motor vehicle has an electric motor having an output shaft. A gear comprising a spindle nut and a gear case is connected to the output shaft. A spindle engages the spindle nut. A bracket forms an at least partial surrounding grip abut the gear case. A pivot bearing is provided between the gear case and the bracket. Further, an abutment lying substantially opposite the pivot bearing is formed between the gear case and the bracket.
