A current sensing device and the organic light-emitting display device including the same are disclosed. The current sensing device may include a plurality of sensing units, each sensing unit playing a role of converting a pixel current input through a sensing line into a digital sensing value, and each sensing unit comprising: a current integrator including an integrating amplifier and a feedback capacitor, the integrating amplifier comprising an inverting input terminal, a non-inverting input terminal and an output terminal, wherein the feedback capacitor is connected between the inverting input terminal and the output terminal, and a first reference voltage is input to the non-inverting input terminal; and a current transmitting unit connected between the sensing line and the current integrator to separate the electric connection of the sensing line and the current integrator, wherein the current transmitting unit mirrors the pixel current and causes the mirrored current to be output from the inverting input terminal of the integrating amplifier.

Current sensing device and organic light emitting display device including the same

The current sensing device in the present disclosure comprises a plurality of sensing units each of which is connected to a sensing channel. The sensing unit may comprise a reference current generator generating a reference current; a current comparator outputting a comparator output signal based on a pixel current input through the sensing channel and the reference current, and removing an offset deviation component included in the pixel current and the reference current by using a reset current externally applied; and an edge triggered data flip-flop outputting a digital sensing value corresponding to the pixel current based on the comparator output signal.

A pixel sensing device, an organic light emitting display device and a pixel compensation method thereof are disclosed. The pixel sensing device comprises a plurality of current integrators for sensing driving characteristics of pixels. Each current integrator comprises: an operational amplifier equipped with an inverting input terminal to which a first input voltage is applied according to a pixel current of the pixels, a non-inverting input terminal to which a second input voltage is applied according to the pixel current, and an output terminal through which an integral voltage corresponding to the pixel current is output; and a feedback capacitor connected between the inverting input terminal and the output terminal. The operational amplifier comprises: a pre-amplifying unit for lowering an amplifier input gain and being equipped with the inverting and non-inverting input terminals; and two gain amplifying units for receiving an output of the pre-amplifying unit and for making an amplifier output gain higher than the amplifier input gain.

Pixel sensing device, organic light emitting display device, and pixel compensation method thereof

A display device includes a display panel on which a plurality of pixels connected to data lines, reference lines, and gate lines are arranged, each pixel having an organic light emitting diode (OLED) and a driving thin film transistor (TFT); a data drive circuit to supply a data voltage to the data lines and a reference voltage to the reference lines; a gate drive circuit to generate a scan signal and a sensing signal and to supply the scan signal and the sensing signal to the gate lines, the scan signal being synchronized with the data voltage and the sensing signal being synchronized with the reference voltage; and a timing controller to divide one frame into a programming time, an emission time, and a non-emission time, and to control an emission duty by variably controlling the programming time based on an analysis of input image data.

An electroluminescent display and a method of driving the same are disclosed. The electroluminescent display includes a driving transistor configured to generate a driving current depending on a gate-source voltage, a storage capacitor configured to store a data voltage and provide the stored data voltage to a gate electrode of the driving transistor, a first switching transistor configured to control a gate potential of the driving transistor, a second switching transistor configured to control a source potential of the driving transistor, a light emitting diode configured to emit light in response to the driving current generated from the driving transistor, and a third switching transistor configured to electrically float a source electrode of the driving transistor and an anode electrode of the light emitting diode when one of the first and second switching transistors is turned off.

Electroluminescent display and method of driving the same

The present disclosure is provided a display device. The display device includes subpixels and at least one scan line. The subpixels are formed on a first substrate, and each of the subpixels includes an emission area, in which a light emitting element for emitting light is disposed, and a circuit area in which a circuit for driving the light emitting element is disposed. The at least one scan line may be disposed on the circuit area in a horizontal direction. The at least one scan line may include: an upper scan line and a lower scan line spaced apart from each other; and a scan connection line positioned between the upper scan line and the lower scan line and electrically connecting the upper scan line and the lower scan line.

Disclosed are an organic light emitting diode display, which can reduce image sticking caused by the deterioration of an organic light emitting diode, and a driving method thereof. The organic light emitting diode display comprises: a display panel comprising a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix at intersections of gate line portions and data line portions and each having an organic light emitting diode; a memory for storing compensation data; a timing controller for modulating input digital video data based on the compensation data and generating modulated data; and a data driving circuit for, during compensation driving, generating the compensation data to compensate for a difference in the deterioration of the organic light emitting diodes by supplying a sensing voltage to the pixels and sampling the threshold voltage of the organic light emitting diodes, which is fed back from the pixels, and for, during normal driving, converting the modulated data into a data voltage and supplying the data voltage to the pixels.

Organic light emitting diode display and method for driving the same

The liquid crystal display includes a data line arranged in a column direction, a first pixel electrode that is positioned on the left side of the data line on a first line, a second pixel electrode that is positioned on the right side of the data line on the first line, a first gate line that is arranged between the first line and the second line in a line direction perpendicular to the column direction, a second gate line that is arranged between the first line and the second line in the line direction, the second gate line underlying the first gate line, a first thin film transistor that is positioned on the left side of the data line on the first line to supply a first data voltage received from the data line to the first pixel electrode in response to a gate pulse received from the first gate line, and a second thin film transistor that is positioned on the right side of the data line on the first line, crosses the first gate line to be connected to the second pixel electrode, and supplies a second data voltage received from the data line to the second pixel electrode in response to a gate pulse received from the second gate line.
