A display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes a light emitting diode and a pixel driving circuit which drives the light emitting diode, the pixel driving circuit includes a driving transistor which applies a driving current to the light emitting diode, a first transistor which applies a first reference voltage to a gate electrode of the driving transistor, a second transistor which applies a data voltage to the gate electrode of the driving transistor, a third transistor which applies a second reference voltage to a source electrode of the driving transistor, and a storage capacitor connected to the gate electrode and the source electrode of the driving transistor. According to the present disclosure, the threshold voltage Vth and the mobility of the driving transistors are internally compensated to improve an image quality.

Display device

Disclosed are a display device and a method for driving a pixel of the display device. The device and method is capable of securing a time to sense a threshold voltage of a driving transistor and of compensating for the threshold voltage during operation of the pixel. Each of a plurality of pixels has a 5T1C structure including first to fourth transistors and a driving transistor. The first to fourth transistors are configured to apply driving signals through first to fourth scan lines, respectively. Thus, even without increasing the number of driving signals applied to each pixel, a long time for sensing a threshold voltage of each pixel can be secured.

Discussed is an organic light emitting display device. The organic light emitting display device in one embodiment includes a plurality of pixels configured to each include an organic light emitting device which emits light with a data current, and a pixel circuit that includes a driving transistor which supplies the data current, which is based on a difference voltage between a data voltage and a reference voltage, to the organic light emitting device, a plurality of data lines configured to respectively supply a plurality of the data voltages to the plurality of pixels, a plurality of gate lines configured to supply a gate signal to the pixels, and a plurality of reference lines connected to at least one of the pixels, and configured to supply the reference voltage to the connected pixel. The organic light emitting display device includes a first substrate configured to include an active area including a plurality of pixels and upper, lower, left, and right inactive areas defined near the active area, and a second substrate facing-coupled to the first substrate. The first substrate includes a plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines formed in the active area, a plurality of driving power lines formed in parallel with the plurality of data lines to supply a driving voltage to the pixels, a cathode electrode layer connected to the pixels in common to supply a cathode voltage to the pixels, a plurality of driving power pads provided in each of the upper and lower inactive areas, and a plurality of cathode connection parts provided in each of the left and right inactive areas.

A method of driving an organic light emitting display device includes sensing characteristics of driving TFTs of pixels to generate sensing data at a power-on time when the organic light emitting display device is powered on, merging initial compensation data and the sensing data at the power-on time to compensate for the characteristics of the driving TFTs of all the pixels, displaying an image in a driving mode and sequentially sensing characteristics of driving TFTs of a plurality of pixels in units of one horizontal line in real time during a blank interval between frames, and sequentially compensating for the characteristics of the driving TFTs of the pixels in units of one horizontal line in real time by using a real-time sensing data generated by real-time sensing.

An organic light-emitting display device having a signal line that is shared by a first column of pixels and a second column of pixels to transmit a data signal and a sensing signal. The organic light-emitting display device includes a plurality of columns of pixels, and a plurality of signal lines extending between the plurality of columns of pixels. Each of the plurality of signal lines is configured to transmit a data signal from a data driver to the first column of pixels at first times. The data signals control the operation of an organic light-emitting element in the first column of pixels. The same signal line transmits a sensing signal from the second column of pixels to the data driver at second times. The sensing signal represents a variable property of an electrical component in a pixel of the second column of pixels.

An interface circuit for detecting a fault in a resolver is provided. More specifically, the interface circuit includes the resolver connected to an intermediate point of a stator coil of a first output terminal for a sine wave signal and an intermediate point of the stator coil of a second output terminal for a cosine wave signal to output the sine and cosine wave signals as a common mode signal. Also includes is resolver fault detection interface unit that adjusts a gain and an offset of the sine wave signal and the cosine wave signal in order to adjust the sine wave signal and the cosine wave signal received as a common mode signal to a frequency that can be suitably applied to an analog/digital terminal of a microcomputer, and to allow high-frequency components of the sine wave signal and the cosine wave signal to pass therethrough.

Interface circuit for detecting fault of resolver and method thereof

Disclosed is a technique for compensating for an abnormal output of a resolver. More specifically, a central processing unit (CPU) sets a current motor position angle before compensation &#x3b8;as a current motor position angle &#x3b8;and obtains a motor position change &#x394;&#x3b8;[rad] between a current sampling [n] and a previous sampling [n&#x2212;1] and a motor position change &#x394;&#x3b8;[rad] between the previous sampling [n&#x2212;1] and a more previous sampling [n&#x2212;2]. Subsequently, a variable A is calculated based on the above angles. The CPU determines whether to perform the compensation by comparing the calculated variable A and a calibration variable K and calculates a current motor position angle for compensation &#x3b8;[rad]. Finally, the CPU compensates for the absence of motor rotor position information with the calculated current motor position angle for compensation &#x3b8;[rad].

Technique for compensating for abnormal output of resolver for environmentally friendly vehicle

Disclosed are an organic light emitting display device and a method of driving the same. The organic light emitting display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels including a pixel circuit for emitting light from an organic light emitting diode and a driving circuit unit driving the display panel. The driving method includes sensing a characteristic of a driving TFT of each of the pixels of the display panel to generate sensing data according to a user's setting using an input device, at a predetermined compensation driving time, or when an error occurs in sensing data generated by real-time sensing of each pixel of the display panel, and compensating for the characteristic of the driving TFT of each pixel by using the sensing data.
