A browser area can be presented in at least a portion of at least one browser. An ownership of the browser area can be determined. The browser area can be customized in accordance with the ownership of the browser area.

Controlling wagering game system browser areas

A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations include receiving event data from a first application available on a wagering game machine, wherein the event data is in a first data format that is natively understood by the first application and not natively understood by a second application available on the wagering game machine. In some embodiments, the operations further include converting the event data to a second data format natively understood by the second application, wherein the second data format is not natively understood by the first application. In some embodiments, the operations further include communicating the event data in the second data format to the second application.

Managing wagering game applications and events

A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In embodiments, the operations can those for moving an object across a plurality of browsers on a display device of a wagering game machine. The method can include presenting a first browser area and a second browser area on the display device, and presenting the object in the first browser area, wherein the object is owned by a first player account. The method can include detecting, by the wagering game machine, player input directing movement of the object toward the second browser, and moving the object from the first browser area to the second browser on the display device, in response to the player input. The method can also include transferring ownership of the object from the first player account to a second player account, in response to moving the object to the second browser.

Wagering game systems can leverage web browsers to present wagering game content with a variety of technologies. For instance, an electronic wagering game table can present diverse wagering game content (e.g., multiple wagering games, portal games, social networking applets, hospitality menus, etc.) with a variety of technologies that interface with a web browser. Also, a single wagering game can be constructed from multiple technologies. A wagering game system can implement a framework that dynamically builds up a web page to use multiple technologies for presenting content with a web browser on a wagering game system. The framework can dynamically construct the web page, which can involve modifying objects, embedding objects, removing objects, and replacing objects that correspond to different technologies.

A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In embodiments, the operations can include presenting one or more browsers on a shared wagering game display and presenting a graphical image of an object on the shared display in a first area of the one or more browsers. The first area of the one or more browsers is assigned to a wagering game system user account. The operations can further include detecting a player input that initiates a movement of the graphical image of the object along a trajectory toward a second area of the one or more browsers on the shared display. The operations can also include causing the graphical image of the object to move along the trajectory across the shared display from the first area to the second area.

The import/export controller applies rules that regulate import and export of data, and the data liaison allows the import/export controller to operate in obscurity. Funneling data transmissions through the import/export controller and the data liaison allows players to securely access an online social community from a wagering game machine while in a wagering game establishment.

Evaluating wagering game outcome data separate from the hosting wagering game machine allows a variety of events to be associated with game outcomes and allows for events to adapt to a dynamic environment and/or to player preferences.

The operations can further include aggregating the event data into an event repository and determining that a requesting application requests some portion of the event data. The operations can further include opening a communication channel between the event data repository and the requesting application, formatting the requested portion of the event data in a format understandable to the requesting application, and communicating the requested portion of the event data to the requesting application via the communication channel. The operations can further include receiving response event data from the requesting application and presenting the response event data on a presentation device associated with the wagering game client device.

An external evaluator can evaluate the wagering game outcome data against rules and/or criteria that lead to an exciting and entertaining event separate and/or distinct from the wagering game itself. An external evaluator evaluates game outcome data, received from a wagering gaming machine via a network, against criteria for a plurality of events (). It is determined that the game outcome data satisfies a criterion of a first of the plurality of events. The criteria comprise the criterion. A device is determined that performs an operation that, at least partially, implements the first of the plurality of events (). A communication that indicates the first of the plurality of events is transmitted to the device via the network ().
