Systems and methods for golf club fitting include a golf club, a detection unit, and a smart tag. The golf club has a club head, a shaft, and a grip. The smart tag communicates with the detection unit when the golf club is positioned within a detection zone associated with a sensor of the detection unit. The smart tag stores data associated with the golf club, such that the detection unit collects the data associated with the golf club from the smart tag for transmission to a computing device.

The process also comprises the step of selectively depositing droplets of a binding agent over the thin layer of metal powder in order to bond the metal powder. The process further comprises the step of sintering a green part body to form the golf club head. The golf club head comprises a lattice structure positioned within an internal cavity of the golf club head. The build plane is offset from a ground plane by between about 5 degrees and about 160 degrees. The ground plane defined as a horizontal plane parallel to the ground when the golf club head is at address. The build plane is not a face angle of the golf club head.

The golf club shaft includes an extended body defining a longitudinal axis that extends centrally through a top and bottom of the golf club shaft, and through which a plane extends. The plane defines a first side of the extended body and a second side of the extended body. A core is disposed in the extended body and comprises a lattice structure integrally formed with the extended body. The lattice structure extends from an inner surface of the extended body along the first side thereof to the inner surface along the second side thereof. At least a portion of the lattice structure extends through the longitudinal axis.

The iron-type golf club head also includes a first plane that extends orthogonal to a ground plane and separates the toe region from the medial region, and a second plane that extends orthogonal to the ground plane and separates the heel region from the medial region. A front face extends along the front side from the toe region, through the medial region, and into the heel region, and the front face and the body are formed of sintered metal by the additive manufacturing process.

A golf club head includes a body and an insert. The body defines a top side, a toe side, and a heel side, and includes a sole extending between the toe side and the heel side at a location on the body opposite to the top side. The body defines an internal volume defined between a ball-striking face and an internal wall. The insert is arranged within the internal volume and is formed layer by layer via an additive manufacturing process. The insert includes a lattice structure arranged between a rear surface of the ball-striking face and the internal wall. The lattice structure is in engagement with the rear surface and formed integrally with the ball-striking face and the internal wall.
