The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and devices for performing analyses of biological nanoparticles. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and devices for performing single biological nanoparticle size determination on a sample while the biological nanoparticle is in transit through a microfluidic chip. In other aspects, the present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and devices for selectively capturing biological nanoparticles on a coated planar surface, the capturing being facilitated by centrifugation.

Methods and apparatus for single biological nanoparticle analysis

Methods, devices, and systems for performing digital assays are provided. In certain aspects, the methods, devices, and systems can be used for the amplification and detection of nucleic acids. In certain aspects, the methods, devices, and systems can be used for the recognition, detection, and sizing of droplets in a volume. Methods and systems for performing digital assays using polydisperse droplets

Systems, methods, and devices for discretizing and analyzing fluidic samples are provided. In one aspect, a microfluidic array for discretizing a fluidic sample comprises one or more flow channels and a plurality of fluidic compartments in fluidic communication with the one or more flow channels. In another aspect, a system for discretizing and analyzing fluidic samples comprises a rotor assembly shaped to receive a microfluidic device.

Systems, methods, and devices for self-digitization of samples

Methods and systems for digital measurements are provided. In an embodiment, the method includes producing a plurality of droplets, wherein at least one of the droplets of the plurality of droplets contains an analyte molecule from a sample; measuring at least a first portion of the plurality of droplets to determine individual volumes of droplets in the first portion of the plurality of droplets; analyzing at least a second portion of the plurality of droplets to determine a number of droplets in the second portion of the plurality of droplets that contain the analyte molecule; and using individual volumes of the droplets in the first portion of the plurality of droplets and the number of droplets in the second portion of the plurality of droplets that contain the analyte molecule to determine the concentration of the analyte molecule in the sample.
