A protector for protecting a pipe thread having a thread pitch Phas a central axis, a first end, second end opposite the first end, and comprises a base at the first end. In addition, the protector comprises an annular connecting member extending axially from the base to the second end. The connecting member has a radially inner surface and a radially outer surface. The connecting member also includes a helical thread extending radially outward from the radially inner surface or radially inward from the radially outer surface. The helical thread has a thread pitch Pthat is greater than the thread pitch Pof the pipe thread.

The specification discloses a cap for sealing the terminal end of a power cord, such as a marine power cord, against dirt and moisture. The specification also discloses that the cap actively prevents corrosion of the electrical contacts covered by the cap by the inclusion of corrosion-inhibiting compounds dispersed within the plastic of the cap. The corrosion-inhibiting compound are released in gaseous form within the cap, thereby inhibiting corrosion of the electrical contacts.

Disclosed is a mobile vibratory abrasive cleaning apparatus that includes a flatbed having wheels upon which are mounted the other components of the apparatus which include a cleaning tank, a vibrator for vibrating the tank, a loop system for circulating the abrasive cleaner through the tank, control panel and power generator supplying electricity for running the apparatus. The loop system for circulating abrasive cleaner through the tank includes sprayers in the tank, an abrasive cleaner surge tank, filter system and drain system. In operation, the abrasive cleaner is pumped from the cleaner surge tank to the sprayers in the cleaning tank, and after contacting the articles to be cleaned, the abrasive cleaner drains from the cleaning tank and is pumped back to the cleaner surge tank. Contaminants are removed via a filter provided in the surge tank and/or the drain system.

Mobile vibrating abrasive cleaning apparatus

A device for the transporting and stacking of cylindrical objects, such as pipes, gas cylinders, etc., comprises a flat bottomed clamping frame 4, 6 which is provided with opposed complementary yokes 16, 18. The yokes have arcuate support surfaces or saddles for the cylindrical objects. The clamping frames 4, 6 are connected with one another by means of tubular stringers. The lower yoke 16 and upper yoke 18 are drawn together by connecting rods 22, 24, 76 to clamp the cylindrical objects in the device.
