The present disclosure relates to the field of body lumen drainage. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to implantable medical devices for facilitating the flow of fluids and materials between adjacent body lumens. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a drainage stent which maintains an open flow passage between fused tissue layers.

A system for forming an anastomosis between first and second sections of a digestive tract includes Optical Scope Device ('OSD') having a lumen extending therethrough and positioned at a first target site within the first section, OSD including an imaging component at a distal end thereof for viewing the first target site; First Endoscope (“FE”) including a working channel extending therethrough and positioned at a second target site within the second section; Capture Device (“CD”) extending from a proximal end to a distal end including a loop, CD extends through the lumen; First Flexible Element (“FFE”) extends through FE, FFE including a coupling element which passes through the loop to couple FFE to CD, connecting the first and second sections, the coupling element moving between insertion and locking configurations; and Stent having a lumen extending therethrough which provides fluid communication between the first and second sections.

Systems, methods and devices for connecting non-adherent structures

The present disclosure relates generally to the field of devices and procedures for placement of a medical device between adjacent tissue structures. In particular, the present disclosure relates to systems and methods for percutaneous placement of a drainage stent between the gallbladder and gastric lumen (e.g., cholecystogastrostomy), or gallbladder and duodenum (cholecystoduodenostomy).

Systems and methods for percutaneous body lumen drainage

According to one aspect, a medical device may include a shaft including a distal tip with a distal-facing surface. The shaft also may include a fluid lumen extending to the distal tip and a nozzle at a distal end of the fluid lumen. The nozzle may be configured to emit a fluid jet from the distal tip. The shaft also may include a vacuum lumen extending to the distal tip and a vacuum chamber at the distal tip. The vacuum lumen may open into the vacuum chamber, and the vacuum chamber may be wider than the vacuum lumen. The shaft may further include a vacuum opening, and the vacuum chamber may open into the vacuum opening. The vacuum opening may be defined by the distal-facing surface of the distal tip.

A system for endoscopic ultrasound guided drainage includes an access sheath extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including an access lumen extending therethrough from the proximal end to the distal end; a stylet slidably received within the access lumen, the stylet extending longitudinally from a proximal end to distal end and including a channel extending therethrough, the channel configured to receive a fluid therethrough; and a dilating sheath extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a dilating lumen extending therethrough. The dilating lumen is sized and shaped to slidably receive the access sheath.
