A roughening tool for roughening the cylindrical surface of a bore in a particular metallic workpiece, e.g. the piston running surface of a cylinder bore or cylinder liner in an internal combustion engine, by generating a defined microstructure of a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart circumferential microgrooves. The roughening tool has a tool main body which can be driven in rotation about an axis of rotation and a multiplicity of circumferentially cutting cutting tools arranged at a defined axial distance from one another on the tool main body. According to the invention, the cutting tools are each formed from a disc milling cutter and each disc milling cutter has at least one cutting element with a multiplicity of cutting teeth arranged at an axial distance from one another. Roughening tool and method for roughening a cylindrical surface

The invention relates to a hydraulic expanding chuck for gripping a tool, for example a drill or a milling tool, comprising: a clamping part having an expansion sleeve having a central receiving opening for receiving and clamping the tool; and a connection part, in particular having a HSK connection. According to the invention, the expansion sleeve has at least two pressure chambers, which are designed to run around the central receiving opening, which are arranged at an axial distance relative to one another, and which can bulge when the tool received in the central receiving opening is subjected to fluid pressure. The at least two pressure chambers are connected to one another by a fluid channel.

The invention relates to a method for producing a roughing tool (), particularly a circular milling tool, comprising the following steps: fitting a lateral surface of a tool base body () that can be rotatably driven about an axis of rotation () with a number of cutting element blanks (') that are staggered in the axial and/or peripheral direction, such that a free edge of each cutting element blank (&#x2032;) protrudes out of the lateral surface in the mounted state; inserting a microtoothing comprising a plurality of axially spaced cutting teeth () into the respective free edges of the cutting element blanks (&#x2032;) by a material removal method, preferably by thermal machining, particularly preferably by eroding, in the premounted state on the tool base body (). The invention further relates to a roughing tool produced by means of such a method.

Roughing tool and method for its manufacture

The invention relates to tool mount with a base body and a receptacle that is joined with the base body for torque transmission and anchored in the base body in an axially movable manner with a spring preload. The base body exhibits a shank section with a recess that is open on the machine tool side, and a bushing section that axially lengthens the shank section, with a guide borehole that is open on the tool side and separated from the recess of the shank section by a radial dividing wall. The receptacle exhibits a guide section that is guided in the guide borehole of the bushing section in an axially movable manner. The receptacle is anchored by means of an anchor that passes through an axial opening in the radial dividing wall and can be actuated for setting the spring preload via the recess of the base body.

Chuck

The invention relates to a hydraulic expansion chuck () with a hydraulic expansion mechanism () that is integrated into a chuck body () and exhibits an expansion bushing () with a continuous cylindrical interior wall, and to a reducing bushing () arranged in the expansion bushing () for accommodating a shank tool (W), in particular a tap drill. According to the invention, the outer circumference of the reducing bushing () is positively connected with the chuck body () in a torque-proof manner, and its inner circumference is designed to be positively connected with the shank tool (W) in a torque-proof manner.

Hydro-expansion chuck

A cylindrical standard shank is provided for rotating cutting tools for locating a standard shank in a cylindrical location opening, precisely produced with regard to shape and true-running accuracy, in the work spindles of so-called transfer lines or of, for example, steep-taper adaptors. The cutting tool is, in turn, fixed by a cylindrical press connection in the standard shank serving as an adaptor between the tool shank and standardized location opening. The standard shank has, at the front, a longitudinally slotted clamping sleeve accurately machined on the inside and outside. The clamping sleeve is clamped by an accurately machined shrink collar of shape-memory alloy which is approximately the same length and has at least the same wall thickness, is present in the austenitic structural state at room temperature and in the process is reduced in diameter on account of suitable pretreatment, and bears tightly against the periphery of the clamping sleeve. The shrink collar can be transformed into the martensitic structural state by undercooling and can thereby be widened in diameter, as a result of which the clamping sleeve is relieved and the cutting tool located in the standard shank can be exchanged.
