A steering column assembly for a vehicle, the assembly having a steering wheel for steering the vehicle, a brake pedal for operating the vehicle brakes, wherein the steering wheel and a pivot for the brake pedal are carried on a four bar mechanism mounted on the vehicle.

Steering column

A suspended axle for a tractor, the axle having a lower link mechanism selectively operable between a first configuration in which the lower links are in fixed relation to the suspended axle and a second configuration in which the lower links are isolated from the suspended axle.

Rear link control

An agricultural tractor comprises an engine and a cooling package supported in front of a cab. The cooling package comprises a radiator and fan disposed between the engine and cab, the radiator having a major surface which is aligned longitudinally so that an airflow forced through the radiator by the fan is generally transverse with respect to the tractor's forward direction of travel. The orientation of the radiator provides for a narrower front end installation which improves the driver's field of view and relaxes limitations on steering angles and cooling package size.

Agricultural tractor front end installation

An agricultural tractor () comprises an engine () and a cooling package () supported in front of a cab (). The cooling package comprises a radiator () and fan () disposed between the engine and cab, the radiator having a major surface which is aligned longitudinally so that an airflow forced through the radiator by the fan is generally transverse with respect to the tractor's forward direction of travel. A foldaway passenger seat () for a utility vehicle () is provided. The seat () comprises a seat tray () which pivots around a single axis (X) between a substantially horizontal seating position and a substantially vertical stowed position. The axis is oriented so that a forward facing edge () of the seat tray in the seating position becomes the lower-most edge in the stowed position and is longitudinally aligned with respect to the forward direction of travel. Advantageously, the seat tray pivots from the seating position to the stowed position in a single fluid movement.

Foldaway passenger seat for utility vehicle

A rear-view mirror assembly is mounted to the side of a utility vehicle cab which comprises a door hinged to a front pillar of the cab. The assembly comprises a mirror support bracket for supporting a rear-view mirror in a position which at least partly resides within a swept volume of the door. The support bracket is pivotally mounted to the cab and a rod is connected between the support bracket and the door. The mirror pivots upwardly to a position outside said swept volume as the door is opened, effectively 'leapfrogging' the door.

Utility vehicle rear-view mirror

An axle mounting assembly includes a steerable axle mounted on an axle support and having a pair of opposing steerable wheels pivotally connected to the respective transverse ends of said steerable axle for pivotal movement relative thereto about respective wheel pivot axes. A substantially rigid connecting member extends between and is attached to the axle support and a steerable element of the steerable axle. The steerable axle is attached to the axle support by first, second and third flexible couplings. Each coupling provides for three planes of movement, the first flexible coupling attaching the axle to the axle support rearward of said axle, the second flexible coupling attaching the axle to a first end of a link forward of said axle and the third flexible coupling attaching a second end of said link to said axle support upwardly of said axle.
