A method and a device () for bonding a metal fairing () to protect a leading edge of an aircraft airfoil (), the metal fairing () is designed to be bonded against the airfoil () with the help of an adhesive (). The bonding device () is remarkable in that it includes a rigid yoke () having inserted therein induction heater elements () for heating the metal fairing ().
