The invention relates to a front hinge pillar () of a vehicle, consisting of a stamped part comprising a central body () that is intended to extend vertically, so as to exhibit a lower end () and an upper end () and lateral edges, the front hinge pillar () being characterized in that it further comprises a front extension () extending from one of said lateral edges of said central body () such that said central body () and said front extension () form a single part.
