A system for producing a location-based inventory of objects each furnished with an RFID transponder () designed to interact with an RFID reader/interrogator () and placed at different locations of a warehousing structure () including a plurality of rows (A-C) supported by vertical uprights (A-D). Each of the uprights of this warehousing structure is furnished at each of the rows with an RFID location transponder () and a processor () to produce a location-based inventory of the objects present on the warehousing structure according to the information received from the transponders.

Automated system for producing location-based inventories

This invention relates to a mobile device for collecting and validating collected articles, each equipped with a transponder and including rollers for moving along a runway in a predetermined path, a horizontal beam for receiving the articles collected during this displacement one by one, a radio-frequency interrogator for obtaining identifying information on each of the articles collected by the device and a comparator for comparing the identifying information obtained with references relative to a determined order for articles and thus for validating the collected articles as they are collected along the runway.

This invention relates to an interrogator device for identifying articles each provided with a transponder, comprising radio-frequency (RF) interrogation means for obtaining identifying information on each of the articles, these RF interrogation means comprising an RF antenna coupled to an electronic module for processing the identifying information issuing from the transponders, and the RF antenna comprises two flat coils each incorporated on two opposite ends of a garment worn by an agent in charge of collecting the articles arranged loose over a storage area, and connected to the electronic module worn by the agent by communication lines incorporated in the garment, the electronic module comprising discrimination means for determining pertinent identifying information from a plurality of identifying information obtained from the transponders through said RF antenna.
