A device for a multi-channel pipetting system, comprising a piston holder, a guide rod of the piston holder, which guide rod is mounted slidably in a guide member, a plurality of pistons having a bottom end housed slidably in a suction chamber, and a piston head mounted on the piston holder by way of a mechanical connection. The mechanical connection comprises two contact points which conjointly define a piston-head rotation axis oriented orthogonally with respect to the transverse direction and to the longitudinal central axis of the pipetting system, and the device additionally comprises, associated with the piston, return spring which force the piston head upward against the piston holder, so as to establish the two contact points.

Multi-channel pipetting system of improved design

A pipette for sampling an extended range of volumes of liquid includes a fixed pipette body. An operating rod is movable in translation relative to the pipette body, along a longitudinal axis of the pipette. The pipette includes a suction chamber and a set of N concentric pistons, wherein N corresponds to an integer greater than or equal to 2. Each of the pistons contributes to delimiting the suction chamber. A coupling module couples the operating rod with the set of N concentric pistons. The module is configured in such a way as to be able to be brought into N distinct configurations in which it respectively couples the operating rod with 1, 2, . . . , N pistons.

In order to increase the compatibility of a pipetting system tip with various types of cones, the invention provides a tip comprising a first group of first cone retention elements defining a first maximum outer diameter; a second group of second cone retention elements defining a second maximum outer diameter; a third group of third cone retention elements defining a third maximum outer diameter. The first maximum outer diameter and the second maximum outer diameter being different so as to together define a first tip portion having a first conicity, and the second maximum outer diameter and the third maximum outer diameter being different so as to together define a second tip portion having a second conicity smaller than the first conicity.

In order to improve the ergonomics of a sampling pipette, the invention provides a control member intended to occupy a nominal central position in which a spring brings a locking member into the locking position thereof of the system for adjustment of the volume to be sampled, the member being able to be axially displaced towards each of the two following positions: a low position for ejecting a cone, in which the control member presses on the cone ejector, the movement from the nominal central position to the low position being carried out against the springs; and a high position for unlocking the braking ring, the movement of the control member from the nominal central position to the high position driving a disengagement element to move the locking member against the spring, until release of the braking ring.
