The invention pertains to an electrical connection bar configured to electrically connect a first electrical equipment and a second electrical equipment, notably in a vehicle, the electrical connection bar comprising an electrical connection module configured so as to supply the first electrical equipment with an electrical energy controlled by the second electrical equipment. The electrical connection bar further comprises a transmission module configured to transmit into the second electrical equipment an electrical signal representative of a physical property of the first electrical equipment, the transmission module being integrated with the electrical connection module.

The invention concerns a method for charging an electrical energy storage unit, in particular installed in a vehicle, from a continuous charging terminal, using a DC/DC voltage converter to adapt the voltage between said continuous charging terminal and said electrical energy storage unit, said DC/DC voltage converter comprising at least two interleaved cells operating out of phase, each cell having respective switches; said method comprising control of the switches of said DC/DC voltage converter by pulse width modulation with a duty cycle to adapt the voltage between said continuous charging terminal and the electrical energy storage unit, said duty cycle having a given value &#x3b1;that is substantially constant over several interleaving cycles.

The present invention pertains to an electrical system, in particular designed to be installed on board an electric or hybrid vehicle, whereby said electrical system includes an AC-to-DC converter that includes a rectifier and a DC-to-DC converter, an isolated DC-to-DC converter connected to a high voltage battery, and whereby said electrical system is configured, in a first operating mode, to be connected to an external alternating electricity grid to charge the high voltage battery. Furthermore, the first interface terminals of the DC-to-DC converter are connected to a low voltage battery, whereby said electrical system is configured so that, in a second operating mode, when the electrical system is disconnected from the external alternating electricity grid, said DC-to-DC converter supplies an initial voltage from the high voltage battery to power the low voltage battery.

The battery charger comprises: two output terminals (BS, BS) between which a battery () is designed to be connected; two input terminals (BE, BE) designed to be connected to an electrical network (); two inductors (L., L.) respectively connected to the first input terminal (BE) and to the second input terminal (BE); two switching arms (B, B) for respectively connecting the inductors (L, L) selectively to the first output terminal (BS) and to the second output terminal (BS); a control device () designed for controlling the switching arms (B, B) so as to draw from the electrical network () a mains current (i) in phase with the mains voltage (u). The control device () is further designed to control at least the second switching arm (B.sub.C) so as to alternately charge and discharge the smoothing capacitor (C) for smoothing the load current (i).

An exemplary embodiment relates to a measuring device for measuring a current flowing in a first cable. The measuring device includes a measuring shunt in the form of a plate connected in series with the first cable and associated with a measuring electronic card connected to a data transmission cable. The measuring shunt further includes a measuring portion of resistive alloy coupled to connection portions on either side of the measuring portion. The connection portions are integrally formed with the measuring portion, and the first cable is secured to at least one of the connection portions of the measuring shunt.
