A blocking device adapted to act on at least one lace or strand, the blocking device including a body, a first cavity defining a first pathway for the strand, the device including a first blocking member, a first guide for guiding the first blocking member relative to the body, and first elastic member to bias the first blocking member in a direction to press the strand against a surface of the pathway, the device functioning by cooperation of a first blocking member with the first pathway for blocking the strand by a wedging effect. The first cavity is open, so as to enable the strand to be inserted and disengaged in a direction other than that of the pathway.

Device for blocking flexible strands

A lace-up device for tightening an article of footwear, providing for the tieing of the lacing without causing discomfort to the user's hands, as well as to the article of footwear equipped with such device. The lace-up device includes a gripping mechanism arranged on the linkage in the area of a loop formed by the lacing outside the tightening zone. The gripping device includes a rigid frame, making it possible to distribute the tension of the lacing over the hand of the user.

Article of footwear with linkage-tightening device

A device for blocking at least one strand of a lace or cord, including a hollow body, a blocking member, and a control member. A cavity of the hollow body defines a housing of the blocking member. The control member allows biasing the blocking member for a displacement in a direction for blocking or unblocking the strand. A reversible locking mechanism in a stable manner retains the control member in a position for unblocking the strand.

Lace blocking device

A device for blocking at least one strand of a lace or other filiform element, the device including a rotatable blocking member and a hollow body, the hollow body having a cavity for housing the blocking member. The blocking member is circular, freely rotatable, and elastically biased in the direction of blocking the strand(s). The device further includes an unblocking member. The unblocking member has a gripping portion located at a distance from the hollow body.

A boot having a sole and an upper, the boot extending longitudinally between a heel and a tip, the upper having an outer envelope and an inner envelope, the boot having a mechanism for tightening the inner envelope, the mechanism for tightening the inner envelope having keepers affixed to the inner envelope and at least one lace. The mechanism for tightening the inner envelope has at least one rear keeper affixed to the outer envelope, the rear keeper being located substantially toward the heel of the boot.

Boot for sporting activities

A sports boot including a sole, an upper, at least one flap fixed to the sole or to the upper, the flap covering at least partially a portion of the upper, and at least two keepers and a lace for reversibly tightening the upper, by a relative bringing together or spacing apart the keepers. At least one keeper of the boot is fixed to the flap so as to be located between the flap and the upper.

Lace-up tightening device for an article of footwear, and an article of footwear equipped with such device

An inner tightening mechanism adapted to equip an article of footwear having a flexible or semi-rigid upper, and an article of footwear incorporating such tightening mechanism. The inner tightening mechanism includes a retention band that is connected to the inner surface of the upper by at least two anchoring points fixed on the lateral and medial sides, respectively, of the flexion in the direction of the heel, and at least one anchoring point is positioned substantially above the sole.

Inner tightening mechanism for footwear and footware incorporating such tightening mechanism

A liner having an envelope made in a single piece and provided with an opening for the introduction of the foot. The opening is a slit made on one side of the envelope demarcated by a pair of overlapping flaps which are subject to an adjustment device with a lace including a plurality of keepers each attached on the envelope. A tightening strap attached on the side of the envelope opposite the side where the slit freely surrounds the part back of the envelope and is then connected by its free end to the lace of the adjustment device to cooperate therewith.

Liner lacing with heel locking

A removable reinforcing element for a sports boot, particularly a snowboarding boot, of the type including an outer boot and an inner liner, the outer boot including an external sole and an external upper, the inner liner including a close-fitting envelope covering the foot and the leg. The reinforcing element includes a bottom part forming a heel stiffener and equipped with a tightening arrangement exerting a tightening force at the level of the instep. It also includes a top part extending vertically upward from the bottom part and including a rear wall and two lateral walls surrounding the lower leg.

A sports boot that includes an upper, an outer sole and at least one fastening member adapted to cooperate with an associated fastening member of a sports article, such as a snowboard, ski, or skate. The upper is provided at its lower end with a continuous peripheral belt, at least semi-rigid, and each fastening member of the boot is fixed on the peripheral belt. The peripheral belt can be arranged on the inside or on the outside of the upper.

A sports boot that includes a sole and an upper attached to the sole, the upper including a first series of return elements distributed across from each other in the frontal portion of the upper, and a second series of return elements distributed across from each other in the ascending portion of the upper, the boot including a lace that has a first portion that cooperates with the first series of return elements and two second end portions that cooperate with the second series of return elements. The first portion has a smaller section than the section of the two second end portions. The invention is also related to the lace for tightening such a boot. A fundamental objective is to provide a satisfactory solution to the problem encountered in tightening a snowboarding boot with an ascending upper.

Lace having variable sections for sports boots and sports boot equipped

A sports boot that includes a tightening device cooperating with a series of return elements for tightening an upper portion, each return portion including a closed loop made of a flexible and traction-resistant material, wherein the return element includes a guiding portion connected to the loop and has a sliding surface for the passage of the tightening device within the loop along a passage plane P, the guiding element having enough stiffness in the plane P to resist deformation when the tightening device is placed under tension. The tightening efficiency is thus optimized by reducing friction. The size of the return element is limited in order to provide greater comfort in case pressure is exerted by an external element.
