An antenna device. The antenna device includes a first radiating structure that operates at a first frequency band. A second radiating structure operates at a second frequency band. The second radiating structure includes a radiating loop formed along a closed line, wherein the radiating loop is made as a coil extending along the closed line and is electrically invisible at the first frequency band. The second radiating structure operates at the second frequency band that does not affect the performance of the first radiating structure that operate at the first frequency band even when both radiating structures are placed in the vicinity of each other.

The present disclosure relates to multiband antenna apparatuses. An example multiband antenna apparatus includes a first dipole radiating element, a second radiating element, and a metasurface superstrate (MSS) structure. The first dipole radiating element may be configured to operate at a first frequency band and arranged on an upper plane of a support structure in a first distance to a reflector plate. The second radiating element may be configured to operate at a second frequency band and arranged on a lower plane of the support structure in a second distance to the reflector plate. The second distance is smaller than the first distance. The second frequency band is higher than the first frequency band. The MSS structure is arranged in an area inside arms of the first dipole radiating element and enhances a performance of the second radiating element.

Metasurface superstrate (MSS) enabled radiator for a multiband antenna apparatus

An antenna device comprises a base plate, a first radiator, a first balun and a second radiator. The base plate has a substantially planar shape. The first radiator is configured to radiate a first electromagnetic signal in a first frequency band. The first balun extends along a first axis between the base plate and the first radiator. The first axis is oriented perpendicular to the base plate and the first radiator. The first balun is arranged in order to support the first radiator. The second radiator is configured to radiate a second electromagnetic signal in a second frequency band. The second radiator includes one or more planar structures extending along the first axis and arranged between the base plate and the first radiator. The first and second radiators operate in different frequency bands without any interference to form a compact multiband antenna device.

Antenna device, array of antenna devices, and base station with antenna device

A multiband antenna system comprises a first massive multiple input multiple output (mMIMO) antenna array comprising a plurality of first antenna elements for use in a first frequency band and at least a second antenna array comprising a plurality of second antenna elements for use in a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band. The second antenna array is at least partially interleaved with the first mMIMO antenna array. The multiband antenna system further includes a distribution network for distributing input and/or output signals of the antenna elements of the second antenna array arranged in a distribution layer, and a transition device.

An antenna that is suitable for multiband operation. The antenna includes a plurality of first radiating elements configured to radiate in a first frequency band. The first radiating elements are arranged in a sparse mMIMO array. Ultra compact ultra broad band dual polarized base station antenna

The present invention provides a dual-polarized radiating element comprising a feeding arrangement and four dipole arms. The feeding arrangement comprises four slots, which extend from a periphery towards a center of the feeding arrangement and which are arranged at regular angular intervals forming a first angular arrangement. The four dipole arms extend outwards from the feeding arrangement and are arranged at regular angular intervals to form a second angular arrangement. The second angular arrangement of the four dipole arms is rotated with respect to the first angular arrangement of the four slots.

Dual-polarized radiating element and antenna

The present disclosure provides a dual-polarized radiating element comprising a feeding arrangement and four dipole arms. The feeding arrangement comprises four slots, which extend from a periphery towards a center of the feeding arrangement and are arranged at regular angular intervals forming a first angular arrangement. The four dipole arms extend outwards from the feeding arrangement and are arranged at regular angular intervals forming a second angular arrangement. The second angular arrangement of the four dipole arms is rotated with respect to the first angular arrangement of the four slots.

An antenna element includes a reflector plate and a radiator comprising a balun device and a dipole device for operating in a first frequency band. The dipole device is connected to the reflector plate by the balun device. A distance from the dipole device to the reflector plate is more than &#xbc; of a wavelength at a central frequency of the first frequency band. The balun device comprises a short-circuit at a distance from the dipole device of 15 to 35 percent of said wavelength.

A dual band antenna element suitable for use in a compact multiband antenna array is described. The dual band antenna element may have a main radiating direction with a first radiating element for use in a first frequency band, a first electrically closed ring for use in the first frequency band galvanically isolated from and arranged at a predetermined distance from the first radiating element in the main radiating direction. The first ring) may at least partially overlap the first radiating element in the main radiating direction. Ultra compact radiating element

An antenna has a plurality of first radiating elements configured to radiate in a first frequency band and a plurality of second radiating elements configured to radiate in a second frequency band. The second frequency band at least partially overlaps the first frequency band. The first radiating elements are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the antenna in a first column, and the second radiating elements are arranged along the longitudinal direction of the antenna in a second column. The second column is separated from the first column along a lateral direction of the antenna. Further, feed points of each first radiating element are separated from feed points of each second radiating element along a bore sight direction of the antenna.

Multiband antenna

A dual band antenna element comprises a support structure being a single molded part; a first feeding circuit and a second feeding circuit both arranged on the support structure; and a first radiating element arranged on the support structure and configured to radiate in a first operating frequency band. The first radiating element is fed by the first feeding circuit. Furthermore, a second radiating element is arranged on the support structure and configured to radiate in a second operating frequency band that is lower than the first operating frequency band. The second radiating element is fed by the second feeding circuit.

Dual-band antenna element and base station
