Electro-hydraulically boosted hydraulic braking system having a master cylinder () including a thrust chamber () and on command receives pressurized brake fluid from an accumulator () via an electrically operated valve () controlled by a computer () on the basis of the signal supplied by the brake pedal () sensor (), and an electrical power source () powering at least the electrically operated valve (), the computer () and the sensor (). An auxiliary generator () is connected in a manner that is controlled () by the computer () to the circuit (L, L, L, L) powering the computer (), the sensor () and the electrically operated valve () if failure of the main source () is detected so as to allow emergency operation of the electrically operated valve () and allow the brake circuit (C, C) to be powered for a limited number of braking actions.

Hydraulically assisted hydraulic braking system

A vehicle braking assembly comprising a master cylinder () with no central valves, a brake fluid reservoir () mounted separately from the master cylinder (), pumps () for pressurizing the brake fluid and first solenoid valves () in pipes () connecting the brake fluid reservoir () to the inlets of the pumps (). Pneumatic brake booster comprising a force sensor

The invention relates to a brake booster intended to transmit handbrake commands. This booster essentially comprises a plunger () able to move axially under the command of the control rod (). An enclosure () contains a working chamber () and a vacuum chamber () which are separated by a wall () able to move axially under the effect of the plunger () and/or of a difference in pressure between the vacuum chamber and the working chamber. A three-way valve () controlled by the plunger () allows the working chamber () to be connected either to the vacuum chamber or to atmospheric air. Finally, a bearing piece () controlled by the moving wall () allows the control rod () to be driven along.
