A gas compression system including a body of fluid and a down pipe. A first end of the down pipe is positioned to receive a fluid from a source above a surface of the body of fluid and a second end is positioned at a lower level of the body of fluid. A gas inlet is coupled to the down pipe, above the surface of the body of fluid for mixing a gas to be compressed with the fluid from the source to form a mixture. A chamber is positioned at the lower level of the body of fluid and coupled to the second end of the down pipe for receiving the mixture and collecting a compressed gas therefrom. A conduit is coupled to the chamber for transferring the compressed gas therefrom.

A trapezoidal-shaped game call device with a tapered polypropylene body design and aperture to expel condensate and saliva. The top and bottom members of the body of the device are hinged together by a living hinge on one side and forms a friction grunter that can be rubbed against a hard surface to produce a rutting call on the other side. Rubber bands with a high percentage of rubber by weight are used as elastic reeds to insure consistency, and a silicon O-ring is also used to attach together the unhinged side of the calling device to stabilize the frictional grunter. A lanyard can also be provided on the device for convenient transport.

Versatile wildlife game call

A low-voltage system is disclosed for supplying operating power to high-voltage neon light tubes located within housings in the forms of letters and other shapes commonly used for illuminated advertising on the outside of buildings. Within the building, a first step-down transformer is connected to the conventional household power supply of 110 volt 60 Hz current. The step-down transformer produces a low-voltage signal in the range of 16 to 24 volts at the 60 Hz operating frequency. The low-voltage wires are passed through the exterior wall of the building on which the advertising sign housing is mounted and require no special precautions or high-voltage insulation due to the extremely low voltage involved. Within each high-voltage lamp housing, a solid state low-voltage to high-voltage conversion circuit is mounted. The input to this circuit comprises the 16 to 24 volt 60 Hz low-voltage current. This signal is supplied to a full-wave rectifier, which supplies operating power to a high-frequency oscillator (10,000 Hz to 30,000 Hz), the output of which, in turn, is used to drive a power switching transistor connected to the primary winding of a step-up transformer. This high-frequency signal, as obtained from the secondary winding of the step-up transformer, is used to supply a high-voltage operating alternating current to the neon tube mounted within the sign housing.

Advertising sign system

The disclosed invention includes apparatus and method for full wave rectification of commerical alternating current of conventional or standard low frequency (e.g., 50-60 hz.) and for generating substantially square wave pulses of high frequency for transformation to voltage suitable for illumination of gas discharge lamps. The apparatus includes electronic means for rectification and silicone control rectifiers and stearing diodes, plus RC devices, for setting up a primary wave or pulse oscillation to produce a desired form of wave pulses at a suitable high frequency. Apparatus also includes variable potentiometer means for varying the lighting intensity by changing width or duty cycle of power pulses as applied to the primary of the light-operating transformer without substantially changing their frequency. Means which can be on or off also are included to periodically turn off the transformer power for 'flashing' or periodic lighting and extinguishing of the lamps when such operation is needed. A unijunction and transistor combination can be switched on to periodically inhibit flow of power to the transformer and thereby produce the flashing action.
