A dispenser system having an integral sealing mechanism for resealing a severed end of a moisture-activated medical bandaging product. A sliding door closes the front of the dispenser system. The sliding door is raised and lowered by a handle preferably having a mechanical advantage. When raised, the sliding door's lower extreme defines a dispensing opening with the bottom of the box. A length of medical bandaging product can be pulled through this opening. When a user closes the door, the door's bottom extreme forms a tang and clevis interface which pinches the sleeve of the medical bandaging product and thereby form a moisture proof seal.

A method for creating a web-based database application that is data dictionary driven is disclosed. A web site, containing various computer programs, data for a database application and a data dictionary describing both the structure of an application database and the requirements for the database application, creates web pages for facilitating the execution of a database application over the internet. The method comprises the steps of creating, updating and maintaining an on-line data dictionary, and creating and initially populating a database for the application. The various programs at the web site create web pages for the application, update the data dictionary and facilitate modification of the data structure for the application. The data dictionary may be initialized: from electronic data uploaded to the web site; from the data-dictionary records describing an existing web-based application; or directly by the user via a web interface. The resulting application allows the user to enter information, view information, select the records to be viewed, and make changes to the application such as form captions, fields displayed, colors used, database structure, and other contents of the data dictionary.

Method of providing data dictionary-driven web-based database applications

A multi-layer protective pad for being custom-fitted to a body member to be protected which includes a flexible inner cushion layer for being placed closest to the body member and an initially flexible intermediate layer bonded to the inner layer. The intermediate layer includes a fabric impregnated with a moisture-curable resin which hardens upon curing to form a rigid structure of the fabric which retains a body part-defined shape into which it is molded during curing, thereby also holding the flexible inner cushion layer in the same body-part defined shape. The fabric has a variable thickness with a relatively thick predetermined area where increased rigidity is desirable and a relatively thin area where increased flexibility is desirable. A flexible outer layer is bonded to the intermediate layer for being held by the intermediate layer in the same body-part defined shape as the intermediate layer.

A bicycle pairing apparatus comprising a plastic chassis having head, rear and intermediate portions respectively opposed to the handlebars, the rear axles and the seat posts of the bicycles. Connector rods connecting the bicycles at the handlebars, the rear axle and the seat post pass through the chassis portions and are supported by the chassis in such manner that loadings on the bicycles that might put them out of square to each other are resiliently resisted and the bicycles are kept in square alignment.

Wheel structure for a trash container comprising an enhanced thickness hub portion defined by positioning a metal member within the locus of the wheel wall during molding so as to increase wall thickness by better heat transfer and increase resin buildup in the vicinity of the metal member. The metal member is usefully a fastener for the end of the wheel carrying axle whereby the position of the wheel on the axle is fixed by the fastening metal member being trapped in the increased wall thickness hub.

Machine dumpable, self-closing trash receptacle comprising an axially elongated, upwardly open, trash receiving body having an outwardly projecting flange at its upper rim, and a body cover, the body and cover being connected in hinged relation by cooperating body and cover portions defining a series of tabs and a mating series of slots, and fastening means connecting the tabs and slots for maintaining mating interfittment of the tabs and slots in normal covered, and inverted dumping condition of the receptacle.
