A holder for a flexible bag includes a frame which defines a bag-receiving area and has a locking portion defining a recess, and a locking member carried by the locking portion for movement between a release position disposed out of the recess and a locking position disposed in the recess, the locking member having a bag-retaining notch therein for receiving a gathered portion of the bag and accessible when the locking member is it its release position and unaccessible when the locking member is in its locking position.

Bag retention apparatus and method

A fuel cell assembly including a membrane electrode assembly, an anode plate, a cathode plate, a removable fuel cartridge, and a fuel delivery system. The assembly includes an anode, a cathode, and a polymer electrolyte membrane having a fuel side and an oxygen side. The fuel cartridge includes an expandable fuel bladder for receiving liquid fuel, an expandable pressure member in contact with the bladder for maintaining a positive pressure on the bladder, and a sealable exit port in fluid communication with the bladder. The fuel delivery system delivers fuel from the cartridge to the fuel side of the membrane. The removable fuel cartridge includes a rigid fuel container having a first container portion and a second container portion permanently enclosing the expandable fuel bladder and the expandable pressure member. The first container portion and the second container portion may be permanently affixed to one another with an adhesive.

A freestanding partition panel for dividing a floor space includes a rigid partition frame having vertical side frame members and first and second horizontal frame members extending between the vertical side frame members to form a vertically enlarged opening through the frame, and an open space within the panel. At least one intermediate horizontal cross member extends across the vertically enlarged opening and defines upper and lower openings through the frame. The intermediate cross member and at least a selected one of the first and second horizontal frame members include a plurality of horizontally spaced apart attachment locations defining a plurality of discrete, serially adjacent mounting spaces. The partition panel further includes a utility unit that is mountable in a selected one of the mounting spaces. The partition panel further includes a first cover panel secured to the partition frame and extending horizontally between the side edge of the utility unit and the selected vertical side frame member. The first cover panel is connected to the intermediate horizontal cross member and extends vertically between the intermediate horizontal cross member and the selected one of the first and second members. A second cover panel is secured to the partition frame, and extends horizontally between the vertical side frame members. The second cover panel extends vertically between the intermediate horizontal cross member and the other of the selected one of the first and second horizontal members.

A fluid supply and reservoir is proved which may be used in conjunction with a clothes refreshing appliance. A fluid cartridge has a top wall to which the nozzle assembly may be secured, and a supply of pressurized air is connected to the nozzle assembly to draw fluid from the reservoir into the nozzle assembly through a siphon tube by a venturi action. The air supply may be provided through an air supply arrangement which includes guide walls for positioning the nozzle assembly relative to the air supply, and a resiliently mounted air supply tube for mating with an air supply opening in the nozzle assembly. An arrangement may also be provided in the reservoir to assure a constant fluid pressure therein to provide a constant flow of fluid through the nozzle assembly.

Fluid supply and reservoir for a clothes refreshing appliance

A clothes treating apparatus including a cabinet defining an interior region in which a garment can be hung. A door is movably connected to the cabinet for closing the interior region. A fluid atomizing nozzle is supported by the cabinet and is fluidly connected to a reservoir containing a conditioning composition. An air compressor is connected to the nozzle for supplying air to the nozzle such that when the air compressor is energized the conditioning composition is drawn out of the reservoir and sprayed from the nozzle in a mist form into the interior region. A fan is provided for circulating air within the interior region such that the mist form of the conditioning composition is uniformly distributed onto the garment hanging within the interior region. Accordingly, the clothes treating apparatus provides a means for applying a conditioning composition onto garments which does not include means for supplying steam into the interior region. The present invention may include an inflatable hanger bag assembly wherein the garment can be disposed about the inflatable bag. A blower supported by the cabinet is provided for inflating the inflatable bag to press the garment against opposed inner side surfaces of the interior region during or subsequent to the application of conditioning composition to the garment. In this manner the garment may be pressed in order to remove wrinkles.

A beverage holder composed of hollow cylindrical upper and lower parts, where the parts are rotatable with respect to one another. The upper and lower parts are connected with one another by a plurality of rod-shaped connecting elements (rods). When the two parts are rotated relative to one another, the rods are tilted, such that the inside diameter inside the hollow cylindrical upper and lower parts is reduced. In this manner, a container inserted into the beverage holder is reliably clamped. The rod-shaped connecting elements may be designed 'in the manner of a stocking.' When an impermeable material is used and the rod-shaped connecting elements are attached in a sealing fashion to the hollow cylindrical assembly and/or the ring, the cylindrical assembly then becomes suitable for allowing a liquid or a gaseous media to flow through it.

Variable size vehicle beverage container holder

A short term underwater breathing device including one or more housings containing a compressor powered by a battery for pumping air from an air intake valve through an air filter and dryer into a storage reservoir. The user draws air from the storage reservoir through a demand regulator. An electronic controller regulates the compressor, controls the opening and closing of the air intake valve, and monitors the air storage reservoir pressure. In a preferred embodiment the compressor, the battery, the air filter and dryer, and the controller are contained within a water tight compartment of a housing, which housing is preferably worn by the user. When the user is on the surface, the air intake valve opens and the battery provides power to the air compressor which draws the air through the filter and the dryer into the air storage reservoir. When submerged, the air intake valve closes, the compressor stops, and the user breaths the air from the storage reservoir through the regulator. The reservoir can provide several minutes of air to the user while under water.
