Apparatus for creating a sleeveless passage of controlled size and shape through a concrete wall poured in a form including two form plates mounted in fixed, spaced relation separated by a width W comprises a plurality of modular, one piece passage units, each unit including an annular main shell of external size and shape conforming to a segment of the sleeveless passage; each unit has end closure walls closing the ends of the main shell. Each modular unit has an axial length L1 that is smaller than W. Each modular unit also has interlock elements that interconnect with another like modular unit so that the main shells of the units can be aligned with each other in one integral assembly between the two form plates.

Apparatus for forming unlined passages through concrete walls

A mailbox combines a box body and a support molded in one piece together with working hardware, such as a handle, a door or a hinge structure for closing and opening the door of the box. The support provides multiple mounting options through a leg with an elongated segment including an expanded foot, that can be embedded in a ground surface. Alternatively, the elongated segment is truncated to expose an open end of a hollow leg. The present invention also provides a process for molding a mailbox box portion and a post portion in one piece, with the box portion including a door, a box body, and a transition sleeve connecting the door to the box body. The sleeve is truncated from the door and the box body to form an open end on the box body, and the door is pivotally mounted at the open end of said box portion. A method for rotationally molding a one-piece product with two segregated exterior color portions includes separating first and second mold chambers in a mold part by a partition wall including an access opening filled with a barrier plastic. Separated color molding material is rotationally molded in each chamber until the barrier melts during the rotational molding process.

Method for molding one-piece, multiple color body

A system for producing a sleeve-lined passage of uniform diameter D through a concrete wall molded in a concrete wall form including first and second form plates mounted in fixed relation and spaced by a wall width W includes a multiplicity of modular spools, preferably made of sheet steel; each spool comprises an annular shell having an axial length L less than W and an inside diameter D with front and rear flat flanges extending outwardly of the front and rear rims of the shell. For a first group of spools the axial length L is of three inches; for the other spools length L of four inches.

System for forming lined passages through concrete walls

A one-piece, unitary, molded resin wall sleeve precursor has two cup-shaped end sections of external diameter D1 each having a hollow transition section of enlarged diameter that connects the end section to a sleeve of internal diameter D1; one transition section has an outer diameter D2 and the other has an inner diameter just slightly larger than D2. D2 is appreciably larger than D1. A wall sleeve assembly of extended length is derived from two of these precursor members by cutting off the end sections; the precursor members can then be joined with a strong, inexpensive, welded joint to afford a long wall sleeve of consistent internal diameter.
