The subject application is directed to various sonic motion devices including a number of play sets in which a number of components located on a vibrating surface are moved in multiple directions as determined by the orientation of vibration fibers secured thereto and responsive to the vibrating surface. Also included an action figure having various features moved by sonic motion which may be correlated with sound such a movable jaw and a synchronized sound.

Multiple sonic motion devices

This application relates to a projectile launcher in which the amount of fuel supplied to the combustion chamber can be varied to shoot the projectile in a lethal or non-lethal mode. The amount of fuel determines the velocity at which the projectile is fired. A low velocity launch on the order of 150 feet per second will be non-lethal at all but very short distance whereas a high velocity launch on the order of 450 feet per second will be non-lethal at a typical range of 100-150 meters but may possibly be lethal at a range of the order of 30 meters or less.

Projectile launcher

The instant development relates to utilizing the sonic motion generated by a speaker to move objects in various directions in response to the variation in the frequency and amplitude of the sonic vibrations. This can be used to move objects in a linear and/or rotating manner. This is accomplished by the utilization of directionality oriented members.

Sonic motion apparatus

A sonically controlled motor has a rotating shaft and an escapement selectively allowing or denying rotation there-of. An acoustic element cooperates with the escapement such that selective operation of the acoustic element selectively allows or denies rotation of, or controls the rotational speed of the shaft. A machine, such as a toy, having one or more moving elements may be controlled by the motor such that selective operation of the acoustic element selectively allows or denies movement of the machine. Alternation of the volume and/or frequency of the acoustic element may be used to alter the operation of the motor, or the motor may be operated according to the beat and qualities of music. The motor may be operated by remote control of the acoustic element.

Sonically controlled wind-up motor

The present invention is directed toward a display package for an animated doll or similar toy product that facilitates demonstration of the toy's animated features. The display package provides an enclosure that houses the doll. The doll includes an animation mechanism that drives a portion of the toy from a first position to a second position. The display package may include a moveable display panel mounted within the enclosure. The display panel is selectively engaged by the toy when the animation mechanism is engaged. The display package may include a support member that supports the toy within the package and permits the animation mechanism to move the doll from a first display position to a second display position.

There are illustrated and claimed three versions of toy characters that are programmed to go through various sequences of movements such as sitting, lying down, rotating on a support accomplished by the movements of the body and leg assemblies as determined by a microprocessor. The three characters include various rib and block assemblies to provide for the desired programmed movements.

Plush characters

A toy character assembly having a coiled tail spring connected to one of said legs. There is mechanism provided for movably mounting the legs relative to said body portion. A gear train is operated by a motor to move the legs relative to the body portion in a downwardly direction to compress the coiled tail spring and then release the legs and body portion to set up a harmonic motion of the body and spring tail.

A cartwheeling toy including an upper assembly including a torso with rigid arms and hands extending therefrom. A lower assembly including legs and a motor means for moving the assembles relative to each other to move the toy into a headstand and then return it to its upright position or cartwheel the toy as desired.

Cartwheeling character

A hydrogen operated gun for shooting projectiles such as a paint pellet. Hydrogen gas is supplied to a combustion chamber and is combusted by a trigger controlled piezo igniter. The hydrogen may be supplied by a hydrogen generator or by a hydrogen storage container located in the gun housing. Suitable valve mechanisms are provided to control the flow of hydrogen to the combustion chamber and the expelling of exhaust gases from the combustion chamber.

The hydrogen generator can use chemicals to generate hydrogen or electrolysis. Additionally, the generator may be disposable. Whatever is used it is capable of providing enough energy to drive over a thousand nails.

A movable toy animal having legs that are controlled by a motor operated teeter-totter assembly. The motor is bi-directional and sequentially moves the legs in opposite directions to move the animal in a forward walking, running or turning direction. Various switches and mechanisms are provided to obtain the desired movement by a battery operated program controller.

A lawnmower having a hydrogen generator for supplying hydrogen to drive an hydrogen operated engine. A regulator supplies hydrogen to drive an engine for operating a cutter assembly of the lawnmower.

Applicant's novel invention relates to a novel hydrogen generator for supplying hydrogen to drive a hydrogen operated engine. The regulator can supply hydrogen to drive an engine for operating the cutter assembly of a lawnmower as well as supply the output of a hydrogen driven engine to operate a variety of power operated devices such as drills, saws, sanders, etc. In addition, the hydrogen generator can supply hydrogen to operate a power driven piston to drive fasteners.

Power driven equipment utilizing hydrogen from the electrolysis of water

A water gun and a watering container using an electrically operated peristaltic pump for pumping water through a nozzle located at the end of a tube connecting a reservoir with an outlet opening. The pump is electrically controlled by a trigger mechanism in a handle of the gun or container. The gun also includes a rotating light arrangement indicating that the gun is in use.
