A dual-voltage lighting fixture assembly having at least two independent lighting circuits for supporting and energizing tube-type lamps. The assembly comprises a track having an insulating housing for mounting at least one set of conductors along an upper plane surface of the housing and at least one other set of conductors along a lower plane surface of the housing. Sets of complementary tabs formed in the housing provide means for locking a plurality of lamp clips at predetermined positions on the track. An improved lamp clip includes means for connecting the lamp clip to the track and separate means for making electrical contact between the lamp and one of the conductors in the track. The lamp clip has corresponding apertures for receiving the complementary tabs in the track to lock the lamp clip in position, and an outwardly-extending tang integral with one side thereof for making electrical contact with the conductor. A low-profile track connector connects sections of track together end-to-end to form a track of variable length, wherein a continuous line of lamps can be maintained from one track section to the next without interruption at the point of connection.

A fiber optic light-emitting panel having one or more braided fiber optic strand assemblies formed into a light-transmitting device. The fiber optic light-emitting panel includes a plurality of three or more fiber optic strands braided together to form a braided fiber optic strand assembly. Each of the fiber optic strands includes a single optical fiber or a plurality of optical fibers to form a bundle. Each of the fiber optic strands within the braided fiber optic strand assembly has at least three (3) bends per inch along the length thereof for transmitting light laterally at the bends to form the light-transmitting device. The fiber optic light-emitting panel includes plastic ties for connecting at least two (2) of the braided fiber optic strand assemblies to form the fiber optic light-emitting panel. The fiber optic light-emitting panel further includes a light pump having a light source for applying an optical light signal to the braided strand assemblies for transmitting light from the bends of the fiber optic light-emitting panel.

A fiber optic lamp includes a lamp housing having a stem section with a passageway therein and a reflector section having a reflective surface. The lamp housing also has first and second circular ledges for receiving and holding in place at least one lens within the lamp housing. A fiber optic cable is provided having a first end for insertion into the passageway of the lamp housing for transmitting light. The second end of the fiber optic cable is connected to a light pump having a light source therein for generating and transmitting light through the fiber optic cable. The fiber optic cable is connected to a socket member of a fixture housing for mounting the stem section of the lamp housing in the fixture housing.

Fiber optic replicant lamp

A cellular reflector for producing a pattern of light includes a honeycomb cell structure having a plurality of connected cells. The present invention adds a plurality of light sources for producing light within a selected plurality of the connected cells and an electrical PC mounting board having sockets therein for connecting the plurality of light sources to a power supply. Each of the connected cells have reflective walls for reflecting light from the plurality of light sources to produce the pattern of light. The cellular reflector further includes a control depth adjuster plate for adjusting the depth of the plurality of light sources in the plurality of connected cells for controlling the pattern of light reflected from the reflective walls of the plurality of connected cells.

A lighting fixture having a rotatable lamp assembly including a housing having a rear wall and side walls for forming an interior compartment; the two side walls having first and second arc-shaped track formed therein; and the housing having mounting means for mounting the housing. The lighting fixture further includes a support and control assembly mounted within the interior compartment of the housing, which includes a U-shaped support bracket having upper and lower arc-shaped tracks formed therein. The lighting fixture also includes first and second arc mounting plate members for movably mounting the support and control assembly on the first and second arc-shaped tracks on the two side walls for movement along the first and second arc-shaped tracks. The lamp assembly has a third arc mounting plate member for movably mounting the lamp assembly on the upper and lower arc-shaped tracks of the U-shaped support bracket for movement along the upper and lower arc-shaped tracks. The lamp assembly rotates within the interior compartment of the housing about a virtual center or virtual axis. A first servomotor drives the support and control assembly and a second servomotor drives the lamp assembly which combine to rotate the lamp assembly in a 360.degree. degree circle about a radius of curvature having a center of curvature above the lamp assembly.

A fiber optic cellular reflector is provided, including a honeycomb cell structure having a plurality of connected cells with reflective walls for reflecting light. One or more fiber optic strands is mounted within each of the cells, and there is a source of light for supplying light to the fiber optic strands in the cells. In addition, a control device adjusts the depth of insertion of the fiber optic strands in the cells for controlling the pattern of light reflected from the reflective walls of the cells.

The system includes a high-intensity light source, a fiber optic conduit for transmitting a light-beam, and colored lenses, which emit red, yellow, and green light on fiber optic lines. Each traffic light has a shutter and control means for opening and closing the shutters in the proper sequence for preset time periods to control red, yellow, and green lights.

A bendable lighting fixture for fluorescent lighting is provided, which includes a continuous support member formed of curvable material and having a mounting surface for receiving a plurality of ballast housings; a socket for receiving a fluorescent lamp mounted on each of the ballast housings; and the continuous support member being curvable and bendable to form the lighting fixture into the desired curved shape.

A bendable lighting fixture for fluorescent lighting is provided, which includes a plurality of support members, each having a mounting surface for receiving a fluorescent lamp; a socket for receiving a fluorescent lamp mounted on the mounting surface; a connector assembly for pivotally connecting each pair of adjacent support members; and the plurality of support members being movable relative to each other to form the lighting fixture into the desired curved shape.

A fluorescent lighting fixture provides shadowless linear lighting. A support member is provided for supporting a plurality of lamp supports. The lamp supports support the fluorescent lamps on an angle, so that the non-socket end of the fluorescent lamp overlaps the socket of an adjacent lamp so as to provide shadowless linear lighting.
