Substantially horizontal axis water turbine assemblies for generating electrical power in areas having poor sources of water flow including rotors mounted within housings in such a manner so as to minimize water resistance to the rotor blades with rotor blades passing through upper rotor return air spaces created within the housings and wherein the turbine assemblies may be mounted within support structures that both channel water flow to the turbine assemblies and facilitate access to the components thereof.

A solar light assembly is configured for illuminating a corrugated sign. The assembly comprises a solar panel, a battery, and a printed circuit board electrically connected to the battery and to the solar panel. An LED light is disposed on the printed circuit board, which is curved to direct the light onto a printed surface of the sign. A sign attachment component attaches the assembly to the corrugated sign. The sign attachment component may be one or more spears configured to be inserted into flutes of the corrugated sign.

Flying electric generator aircraft that include groupings of four rotors mounted to booms extending fore and aft of a fuselage structure wherein the rotors are placed so that when the aircraft is facing the wind, each rotor has a direct path to an undisturbed flow of air, regardless of pitch angle and during all flight maneuvers of the aircraft. The rotors are placed in counter-rotating pairs with the booms preferably angled so that the rotors in the front of the aircraft are spaced at a distance from one another that is different than a spacing of the rotors at the rear of the aircraft.

An AC/DC power supply and platform for a military radio has been developed. The apparatus includes a base that supports at least one SINCGARS RT-1523 radio. The base is connected to an AC power supply and at least one DC power supply. The AC supply and DC power supply are configured to switch automatically to the DC power supply should the AC power supply fail.

Integrated AC/DC power supply and platform for military radio

An AC/DC power supply and platform for a military radio has been developed. The apparatus includes a base that supports at least one SINCGARS RT-1523 radio. The base is connected to an AC power supply and at least one DC power supply. The AC supply and DC power supply are configured to switch automatically to the DC power supply should the AC power supply fail. The housing of the platform is sealed from the exterior environment with gaskets.

Sealed power supply and platform for military radio

An improved power supply and platform for a military radio has been developed. The apparatus includes a base that is adapted and arranged for supporting a HARRIS 117 radio and a power amplifier adapted to amplify radio frequency output of the radio. The connectors include an electrical connector for the radio and a connector for the amplifier. A power supply is housed within the assembly. A power supply for the connector to the amplifier is also housed within the assembly. Also included is a wiring harness for a SINCGARS LS/671 device and a LED indicator to identify which radio is in operation for multiple radio configurations.

Integrated power supply and platform for military radio

A power platform assembly is provided to convert available AC power into power suitable to power SINCGARS radio components. The platform includes a horizontal base for supporting up to two SINCGARS radios and a carriage assembly supported above the base to provide support for up to two radio frequency power amplifiers. Connectors, internal wiring, and electrical components inside the platform provide power and electrical connections between components within and connected to the platform. Ancillary electronics and connectors provide for remote audio monitoring of communications via an LS-671 external speaker, or equivalent external speaker arrangement. The platform allows various types of available AC power, as may vary across different regions of the world, to power the radios and radio frequency power amplifiers while allowing others in a secure vicinity of the platform to hear incoming and outgoing voice transmissions without draining the batteries powering the radios.

A directional alignment and alignment monitoring sensor system that is designed to be mounted to a directional or omni-directional antenna wherein the system includes a sensor having one or more phototransistors that are associated with one or more baffle members and wherein each baffle member defines a restrictive light passageway toward a phototransistor such the by measuring the time that a phototransistor is illuminated, a correct orientation of the antenna may be accurately determined.

Baffled sun sensor antenna alignment monitors

A lightweight portable seating unit for a bathtub which unit includes a platform adapted to be supported by and clamped to the sidewalls of the bathtub and on which a seat is slideably carried and pivotably adjustable to facilitate positioning of an individual seated on the unit. In some embodiments the seat may include an adjustable backrest and head support and/or a bidet attachment.

Portable bath seat

A passive capture joint with three degrees of freedom is presented wherein two structural elements are joined together solely by moving the two elements into position, and which when joined together have rotation in all three axes. The inventive apparatus is comprised of two halves: 1) a joint ball mounted on a stem as in a common trailer hitch, and; 2) a socket. The socket consists of a base having an exterior wall and forming an interior chamber, the chamber having a top end and a bottom end, and an interior wall. The chamber is open at the top end, and forms a spherical cup at the bottom end. The socket base's interior chamber is sized to accept the joint ball. The base also forms at least one bore at an acute angle away from the interior chamber's open end. The bores have a first opening in the interior wall of the chamber, and a second opening in the exterior wall of the base. Retaining balls sized to fit within the bores, but to only partially pass through the first opening, are moveably housed within the bores. The retaining balls are moveably held in the first opening by a compression spring housed in the bore. As the joint ball is inserted in the chamber it forces the retaining balls back into the bore until the equator of the joint ball passes. Because the bore is at an acute angle to the chamber the joint ball cannot exit the chamber without the joint being unlocked. The joint is unlocked by rotating a locking ring which encircles the base and covers the second opening. The locking ring has a radial slot for each retaining ball, disposed angularly from the base, and sized to allow passage of the retaining ball in the radial direction when the locking ring is rotated to align the radial slot with the second opening.

Passive capture joint with three degrees of freedom

A compact and portable bath bench which is mounted on a frame supported by a pair of foldable brackets which engage an outer side wall of a bathtub. The frame is stabilized by a foldable leg assembly which extends from the frame to the bottom of the bathtub. A seat may be supported on the bench by a moveable carriage so that an individual may be seated adjacent the side wall of the bathtub and thereafter moved centrally thereof.

Portable bath bench/seat

A quick-connect bolt that can be inserted into a threaded receptacle without rotation and tightened with a minimum number of rotations.
