A system for controlling an implement during a tillage operation may include a frame and a ground-engaging tool pivotally coupled to the frame and movable relative to the frame between a retracted position and an extended position. An actuator may be configured to bias the ground-engaging tool towards the extended position during the tillage operation. An adjustable valve may be configured to permit flow out of the actuator when a fluid pressure of the actuator exceeds a reset pressure such that the actuator allows the ground-engaging tool to pivot towards the retracted position. A controller may be configured to determine at least one of an actuator position or a load value indicative of a force applied by the ground-engaging tool against the soil during the tillage operation and adjust the reset pressure based on the at least one of the actuator position or the load value.

System and method for controlling an agricultural implement during the performance of a tillage operation

A steering system for a work vehicle includes a steering hand pump, a hydraulic main supply line fluidly coupled with the steering hand pump and including a check valve, and a normally open, two position valve. The valve includes an inlet fluidly couplable with a pressurized access point of a hydraulic sub-system, an outlet fluidly coupled with the main supply line on a downstream side of the check valve, and a pilot port fluidly coupled with the main supply line on an upstream side of the check valve. The valve is operable in the closed position based on pressure in the main supply line when the main supply line is pressurized from a pressure source, and operable in the open position and interconnecting the pressurized access point with the main supply line through the outlet when the main supply line is not pressurized from the pressure source.

Work vehicle with hydraulic assist for power off steering

An agricultural vehicle includes a chassis and an engine, transmission and operator station which are each carried by the chassis. The engine has a maximum operating speed. The transmission includes a continuously variable output. A power/economy switch which is positioned within the operator station provides a first output signal indicative of a power mode and a second output signal indicative of an economy mode. A controller is coupled with each of the engine, the transmission and the power/economy switch. The controller receives the second output signal from the power/economy switch and controls each of the engine and the transmission to be in an economy mode, whereby an operating speed of the engine is limited to a reduced maximum speed which is below the maximum operating speed, and the continuously variable output of the transmission is increased to offset for the reduction in engine operating speed.

Power/economy mode control system for an agricultural vehicle

A harvesting system for collecting crop grain crop residue in a single pass with a baler towed by a combine harvester is provided. The system includes a hydraulic system that hydraulically interconnects the combine harvester with the baler, allowing the engine of the combine harvester to hydraulically power systems and components of both the combine harvester and the baler. The hydraulic system may include a combine hydraulic system and a baler hydraulic system which may be hydraulically connected through multiple interconnections for hydraulically powering different functions of the baler using hydraulic pressure that is generated at the combine harvester. A first combine-to-baler hydraulic interconnection may transfer hydraulic power from a combine primary baler drive hydraulic circuit to a baler drive hydraulic circuit. A second combine-to-baler hydraulic interconnection may transfer hydraulic power from a combine spreader hydraulic circuit to a baler conveyor and/or auxiliary hydraulic.

Hydraulic system for collecting crop grain and crop residue in a single pass

The control of an apparatus within a grain holding device for feeding grain to an unloader conveyor operable for conveying the grain from the holding device, includes sensing a predetermined condition or conditions representative of capacity of the unloader conveyor for receiving grain, and adaptively controlling the apparatus for feeding grain to the unloader conveyor in advantageous varying manners responsive to the conditions, including to delay initiation of feeding until the receiving capacity is increased, and to match the grain feed to the capacity. The automatic control can be overridden, to allow user control of unloader speed, and can be configured to allow cleanout of the unloader conveyor.
