An adjustable bobber system for allowing adjustment of the buoyancy and for attaching to a fishing line without the use of a bead. The inventive device includes a hook member connected to a buoyant member and a first weight member slidably positioned about the buoyant member. The hook member includes a body with an open end that receives a second weight member and the buoyant member, a jaw extending from the body with a slot within, and a slit extending into the jaw to the slot for receiving the fishing line below a stop knot. The buoyant member is preferably constructed of an elongated buoyant material, such as plastic foam, that is easily severed in any position by a cutting device.

Adjustable bobber system

A fishing sinker device for maintaining the fishing line and attached fishing lure at the desired water level regardless of the terrain. The inventive device includes a buoyant member having a first end and a second end, a first engaging member attached to the first end of the buoyant member for engaging a fishing line, and a second engaging member attached to the second end of the buoyant member for engaging a weight. The buoyant member is preferably an elongate structure and is constructed of a buoyant material such as a foam rubber material or the like. The first engaging member includes a first slot for receiving the fishing line and the second engaging member includes a second slot for receiving a loop from the weight. The buoyant member maintains the fishing line at the desired height above the surface of the body of water during fishing regardless of the obstacles encountered during usage of the present invention.

Fishing sinker device

An adjustable bobber system for allowing adjustment of the buoyancy and for attaching to a fishing line without the use of a bead. The inventive device includes a hook member connected to a buoyant member. The hook member includes a body with an open end that receives the buoyant member, a jaw extending from the body with a slot within, and a slit extending into the jaw to the slot for receiving the fishing line below a stop knot. The buoyant member is preferably constructed of an elongated buoyant material, such as plastic foam, that is easily severed in any position by a cutting device. The user first ties the stop knot along the fishing line in the desired location. The user then simply engages the hook member upon the fishing line below the stop knot. If the user desires less remaining buoyancy, the user simply removes a portion of the buoyant member with a conventional cutting device, such as a scissors. A marker band is preferably adjustably positioned about the buoyant member for providing a visible mark upon the buoyant member that is a finite distance above the water level when the fishing lure and/or bait are attached. If the fish engages the bait and pulls the buoyant member downwardly, the marker band will become submerged informing the fisherman that a fish is present. Because the hook member remains in contact with the fishing line at all times beneath the water surface, there is not freezing of the fishing line to the hook member. In addition, any ice buildup upon the buoyant member can be easily removed by simply squeezing or bending the buoyant member without breaking or damaging the buoyant member.

Carrier rack apparatus for mounting bicycles, skiis and the like to the existing exterior spare tire mount on the rear door of a vehicle, the invention in its several embodiments provide a mounting hub sandwiched between the existing spare tire mounting device carried on the rear door of a vehicle and the wheel of the spare tire carried on the door. This mounting hub detachably receives a carrier rack configured according to the invention and which mounts articles such as one or more bicycles, skiis, a gas can, etc. Preferred embodiments of the invention provide carrier rack structures which are adjustable both vertically and also in at least one horizontal sense, these preferred rack structures being capable of adjustable movement in six degrees of freedom.

Carrier rack apparatus mountable to vehicle rear door spare tire mount

An exercise device consisting of two telescoping longitudinal members that are interconnected by an elastic cable is characterized by having an auxiliary cross member affixed on the tubular longitudinal member near the open end of it where the other longitudinal member enters it. This auxiliary cross member permits an increased repertoire of exercises to be performed with the device, including rowing exercises and archery pulls. A number of useful accessories are disclosed.
