Coupling for bung adapter

A dripless coupling device in which a male unit and a female unit selectively interconnect flow conducting members, a male barrel having a male cylinder disposed therein which is insertable into a female body. The female body is provided with a dial retainer liner adapted to receive a dialer member such that the male cylinder can be selectively rotated by the dialer member to index the cylinder bore of the male cylinder with the male barrel port of the male cylinder and the liner port and the hollow post of the female body. A seal is formed between the female body and the dialer member when the male unit is disconnected and a biasing assembly is provided for biasing the dialer member into sealing engagement with the seal while permitting the dialer member to be retracted upon connection of the male unit to the female unit.

Dripless coupling device

A coupling device comprises of a male unit and a female unit used to connect and disconnect flow conducting members. The barrel of the male unit is inserted into the barrel of the female unit when the device is operatively engaged. When so engaged, the respective output ports of the male and female units are indexed. The male input port and female output port can then be connected to respective flow conducting members so that fluid flow is facilitated.

Quick-connect coupling

A calibration container for accurately measuring a desired quantity of a selected liquid, the calibration container comprising an open-top vessel made of a substantially transparent material and having a neck portion extending vertically from a body portion thereof. Scale support ribs extend along opposite sides of the neck portion to slidably support a graduated indicator scale which has a zero indicator mark, the indicator scale attachable to the neck portion in a permanent location determined after aligning the zero indicator with a liquid meniscus formed in the neck portion and viewable through the neck portion.

Calibrated container

A dispensing system including a tank and a constant displacement pump mounted on the tank for dispensing liquid from the tank. Liquid is withdrawn from the tank via an adapter mounted in the tank bung and having two concentric tubular members, the inner of which receives a tube connected to the pump inlet. A standpipe extends downwardly from the inner tubular member so that liquid is withdrawn from lower portions of the tank. A bypass bore, containing a pressure relief valve, is formed in the pump body between the pump outlet and a recirculation port to return liquid from the pump outlet to the recirculation port when a valve on a delivery line from the pump is closed. The recirculation port is fluidly connected to the outer tubular member of the adapter to return the liquid to the tank.

A coupling device comprised of a male unit and a female unit used to connect and disconnect flow conducting members. The barrel of the male unit is inserted into the barrel of the female unit when the device is operatively engaged. When so engaged, the respective output ports of the male and female units are indexed. The male input port and the female output port can then be connected to respective flow conducting members so that fluid flow is facilitated.
