Further provided are devices-having addressable electrodes controlling polynucleotide synthesis (deprotection, extension, or cleavage, etc.) The compositions, devices, systems and methods described herein provide improved storage, density, and retrieval of biomolecule-based information.

Embodiments herein relate to data storage and retrieval using information-encoding polymers encapsulated in droplets stored in a microfluidic droplet storage array. In various embodiments, a data storage apparatus may include a microfluidic droplet storage array to store one or more droplets containing one or more information-encoding polymer molecules in one or more droplet storage locations, and an interface coupled with the microfluidic droplet storage array to receive the one or more droplets from a data writer that writes the one or more droplets into the microfluidic droplet storage array. Apparatus, computer-readable storage medium, and method associated with speech recognition are described. In embodiments, a mobile phone may include a processor; and a speech recognition module coupled with the processor. The voice recognition module may be configured to recognize one or more voice commands and may include first echo cancellation logic and second echo cancellation logic to be selectively employed during recognition of voice commands. Employment of the first and second echo cancellation logic respectively may cause the mobile phone to variably consume a first and second amount of energy, with the second amount of energy being less than the first amount energy.

The inkjet stylus includes a nozzle for depositing ink onto a writing surface. The ink is drawn from an ink cartridge, which may contain a plurality of ink containers, each holding a different color ink. A switch mechanism is used to select different combinations of ink to produce different colors. A microcontroller controls the switch mechanism so as to select the combination of inks that will produce the desired color, and also controls how the ink is deposited on the writing surface using the nozzle. A battery powers the electronic devices in the inkjet stylus.
