Break-away connectors are disclosed. The break-away connectors may be configured to be coupled in at least two configurations, for example, a high force configuration and a low force configuration. The break-away connectors may also be incrementally adjustable between the high force configuration and the low force configuration. The break-away connectors may be coupled to a first medical device and a second medical device. Methods of using and/or coupling the break-away connectors are also disclosed.

An inflation device including a handle mechanism configured to selectively engage and disengage threads within the device. In some instances the threads are configured to couple a plunger to a syringe body. The handle mechanism may be configured to (1) provide a mechanical advantage and (2) change the location and direction of the input force, thereby making the device easier to use.

The inflation device may have multiple configurations wherein certain plungers are locked with respect to a body of the inflation device while others are configured to be displaceable within the body. Each plunger may be configured with a different effective surface area, allowing a practitioner to vary the amount of force required to attain certain pressures.

An animal euthanization assembly provides a method for humanely anesthetizing and euthanizing animals using small but effective single doses of agents dispersed from a single one use container. The assembly includes a box having a bottom wall and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending upwardly from the bottom wall defining an interior space of the box. A lid selectively couples to the box wherein the interior space is enclosed. A valve is coupled to the box. A canister has a dispensing nozzle selectively engageable to the valve wherein contents of the canister are dispensed into the interior space of the box when the dispensing nozzle is engaged to the valve. An anesthetizing agent and a euthanizing agent are dispensed from the canister when the dispensing nozzle is engaged to the valve.
