A substance delivery device is disclosed. The substance delivery device includes a lever that includes a drive arm that is rotatable about a pivot. The substance delivery device also includes a pump that has a deformable chamber. The deformable chamber is configured to rotate the drive arm about the pivot towards a container so as to deform the container to drive a fluid substance from the container.

A device is disclosed. The device includes a housing that defines a chamber. The chamber is to be at least partially filled with an electrolyte material. The device also includes a plurality of electrodes that are at least partially embedded in the housing and exposed to the chamber. The device further includes an access port that provides fluid communication between an interior of the housing and the outside environs.

An integrated device package is disclosed. The integrated device package can include a substrate that has an upper side and a lower side opposite the upper side. The integrated device package can include an integrated device die that is mounted to the lower side of the substrate. The integrated device die has a first side facing the lower side of the substrate and a second side opposite the first side. The package can include a molding material in which the integrated device die is at least partially embedded. The package can include a thermally conductive element coupled to the second side of the integrated device die. At least a portion of the thermally conductive element can be exposed through the molding material. The thermally conductive element can be a heat sink. The package can include an interconnect that is configured to provide an external connection. The interconnect extends at least partially through the molding material from the lower side of the substrate.

Integrated device package including thermally conductive element and method of manufacturing same

An optical illuminator assembly such as an integrated module can provide an illumination source for use in applications such as optical detection. A peak output power of the module can be enhanced as compared to other approaches, such as by one or more of controlling parasitic effects along an electrical pathway used to drive an optical emitter circuit included as a portion of the module, or by providing thermal management including establishing thermal conduction pathways through opposite surfaces of an optical emitter circuit such as an integrated circuit die comprising a solid-state optical emitter. Control schemes can be used that power various cells or functional blocks of the optical emitter independently. Thermal regulation can be provided by an active heat transfer element such as a thermoelectric cooler (TEC). An optical illuminator assembly can be optically coupled to a beam-steering device or other elements, such as using a self-aligning mechanical configuration.

Optical illuminator module and related techniques

An optical device package is disclosed. The optical device package includes a substrate that passes light at an optical wavelength. The optical device package also includes an optical device assembly that is mounted to the substrate. The optical device assembly comprises an optical device die. The optical device die has a first surface that is mounted to and facing the substrate and a second surface that is opposite the first surface. The optical device package further includes a molding compound that is disposed at least partially over the second surface of the integrated device die.

Optical sensor package

A diagonal brace connector and method is disclosed. The connector includes an upper planar member and a lower planar member connected by a rigid webbing. A center screw boss is disposed continuously and laterally along the webbing. The screw boss is adapted to receive a screw fastened through a structural member and into the screw boss. A corner screw boss is along the corner between the webbing and the lower flange. The corner boss is similarly designed to accept a screw fastened through a structural member and into the screw boss. A pair of parallel grooves are formed in the webbing to provide a visual guide for the locations to install permanent fasteners. The alignment grooves are disposed such that the screw bosses of adjoining members do not interfere with the permanent fasteners.

A method of rendering a first image having a plurality of particles. The method comprises: receiving a z-depth image that provides a z-value for each pixel in the first image; generating a single pixel particle of an opaque transparency for each pixel in the z-depth image positioned at the same x-y position as the each pixel in the z-depth image and at a z-position indicated by the z-value; sorting the plurality of particles with a plurality of the generated single pixel particles in the first image based on the z-position; and rendering the sorted plurality of particles and single pixel particles based on the sorted order.

A method of rendering an image having a plurality of objects. The method comprises: generating an adjusted z-position by randomly adjusting the original z-position of an object over a series of samples; sorting the plurality of objects in a sample based on the adjusted z-position of each object of the plurality of objects; and rendering the plurality of objects in a sample based on the sorted order for the sample using the adjusted z-position but at the original z-position to generate a resulting image.

A beverage storage and discharge cap assembly includes an inner cylindrical housing rotatably nested within an outer cylindrical housing, the outer housing including a cap skirt having threads capable of being rotatably coupled to the neck of a bottle. The housings are hollow such that the inner housing may store a beverage substance therein, the inner housing having a closed top and the outer housing having a bottom wall for sealing the beverage substance within the cap assembly. A rotation of the inner housing causes a free edge thereof to rupture the bottom wall, thus releasing the stored beverage substance into the bottle whereby to interact with a beverage substance in the bottle. The housings include cooperating nubs that produce an audible sound or 'pop' substantially simultaneous with rupture of the seal.

Beverage storage and discharge cap assembly

An axle extension device includes a circular extender plate having a plurality of bores adapted to receive the mounting studs of a vehicle hub therethrough. A number of stud bolts equal to the number of mounting studs extend outwardly from the extender plate for receiving corresponding holes of a hub of a vehicle tire/wheel combination. The extender plate has a thickness such that a tire/wheel combination attached thereto is displaced from the vehicle's wheel hub so the vehicle's wheel base is broadened. Another embodiment includes a first extender plate for mounting to the mounting studs of a vehicle hub, the first extender plate having a threaded exterior side surface. A second extender plate includes a threaded interior surface and may be rotatably mounted to the first extender plate for adjusting the amount of axle extension. The second extender plate includes stud bolts for receiving a tire/wheel combination.

Axle extension device

An ambient air condition sensor housing includes a front portion releasably coupled to a rear portion and defining an interior space therebetween adapted to retain at least one ambient air condition sensor. The rear portion defines apertures for passage of the ambient air therethrough. A labyrinth having a plurality of spaced apart upstanding walls is integrally attached to an inner surface of the rear portion and is positioned so as to cooperate with the air condition sensor. Each wall of the labyrinth includes a slightly arcuate configuration for funneling the ambient air toward the air condition sensor. The rear portion and labyrinth are completely covered with a black coating so as to minimize light reflectivity within the interior space whereby to enhance proper functioning of the air sensor.
