Some embodiments concern a method of transmitting electrical signals. The method can include: using a global positioning satellite receiver to determine a first location of a first electrical device; using a first transmitter to transmit the first location to a first server; using a receiver to receive information identifying at least one first unused frequency at the first location from the first server; selecting a first transmission frequency from the at least one first unused frequency; and communicating the first transmission frequency to a user. In some embodiments, a method of transmitting electrical signals over at least one unused first frequency includes: (a) using a first electrical device to receive information identifying the at least one unused first frequency; (b) selecting a first transmission frequency from the at least one unused first frequency; (c) communicating the first transmission frequency to a user; and (d) using the transmitter of the first electrical device to broadcast the electrical signals over the first transmission frequency. A system for interfacing with an audio player comprises a housing () containing a first connector (), a transmission device () including a second connector () capable of removable engagement with the first connector, a power interface () electrically coupled to the housing, and an audio interface () electrically coupled to the housing and capable of being coupled to the audio player. The transmission device is connectable both to the housing and to the audio player directly, and is capable of transmitting an audio signal generated by the audio player to a playback device such as a radio.

A switching device and system for interconnecting a single user console having user interface devices, including a console keyboard, a console video display unit, a console mouse, and speakers to a plurality of host computers each capable of using user interface devices, including a keyboard, a video display unit, and a mouse, and allowing the user to access one or more of the host computers from the single user console. The video output from each of the host computers are scaled and cropped as appropriate so that each of the host computer's video output may be simultaneously displayed as host computer 'windows' on the console video display unit. The user may easily navigate between the host computers through a convenient and intuitive user interface. The audio output from each of the host computers may be mixed or switched for output to the speakers as desired.
