Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to verifying a communication identifier or electronic address using one or more blockchains. Implementations mint non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that correspond to the electronic addresses and/or communication identifiers. A person or company can communicate with third-party entities via the electronic addresses and/or communication identifiers. A given third-party entity can verify that a NFT that corresponds to the specific electronic address and/or communication identifier the given third-party is interfacing with has a corresponding minted NFT. The existence of such a minted NFT verifies that the specific electronic address and/or communication identifier has been registered with a trusted authority. The third-party entity can then safely interact with the electronic address and/or communication identifier once receiving the verification result.

Blockchain based verification of electronic addresses or communication identifiers

A privacy management system includes a computing system with one or more processors. The privacy management system also includes memory storing instructions executable by the one or more processors to cause the computing system to detect use of an application on a user device operated by a user. The instructions are executable by the one or more processors to cause the computing system to instruct a camera of the user device to capture image data during the use of the application on the user device, and then to analyze the image data to identify a presence of one or more background objects. Further, the instructions are executable by the one or more processors to cause the computing system to initiate one or more privacy actions with respect to information on a display screen of the user device, in response to the presence of the one or more background objects.

Privacy management systems and methods for user devices

Methods and systems can identify and request video data and information associated with an event. An event location and time associated with the event can be determined. The event can comprise damage to property or injury to a person. A geographic range of interest associated with the event location and a time duration of interest associated with the event time can be determined. One or more users who are determined to have been at or near the event location at the event time can be automatically identified. A request for at least one of information or video data from the geographic range and time duration of interest can be transmitted to the one or more identified users.

Event information collection system

Systems and methods for automatically performing a cleaning operation for a portion of a building are described herein. In one example, cleaning data specifying human activity in the portion of the building and/or one or more current infection rates for one or more pathogens can be received from one or more data sources. Based on the cleaning data, a probability of the one or more pathogens being present in the portion of the building can be determined. One or more cleaning operations for the portion of the building can be determined based on the received cleaning data, a determined probability of the one or more pathogens being present, and a risk tolerance condition. In response to detecting a trigger for at least one cleaning operation, a command can be generated to perform the at least one cleaning operation, and the command can be transmitted to a cleaning device.

Targeted building sanitation

A system and method for transforming physical currency in the form of banknotes into digital currency is disclosed. The system includes a device that can scan and destroy banknotes, and send information about the destroyed banknotes to a digital currency minting system so that a corresponding value of digital currency can be created on a corresponding digital currency network. The device includes at least two optical devices, where one of the optical devices is displaced from a shredding assembly at a particular distance to ensure that a confirmation of destruction image including a serial number on the banknote can be captured at approximately the same time that a sufficient amount of the banknote has been shredded to render the banknote invalid for use as currency.

System and methods for converting banknotes to digital currency

Systems and methods for using home telematics for maintenance behavior check

A tattoo detection-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource is disclosed. The user provides image data in which they present a region of skin on which a pattern or code has been tattooed with ink that is invisible to the human eye. The system and method are configured to evaluate the image data to determine whether the cloaked token is present. If a cloaked token is present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person. In some cases, the system can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

Tattoo detection-based video authentication method and system

A micropattern detection-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource is provided. The user provides image data in which they present a secondary computing device with a specially fabricated screen cover. The screen cover includes a plurality of micro-holes that collectively provide a unique micropattern. When the user adjusts a display setting, the micropattern, previously cloaked, becomes apparent as an arrangement of pinpoints of light. The system and method are configured to evaluate the image data to determine whether the micropattern is present. If a micropattern is present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person. In some cases, the system can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services for which they are authorized.

Micropattern detection-based video authentication method and system

A user specific tic behavior detection-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource. The user provides audio and/or video data in which they exhibit one or more tic behaviors. When a person later requests access to the user's account, the system and method are configured to capture a video and/or audio recording of the person requesting access. The data is evaluated to determine whether the previously detected tic behavior is present. If the tic behavior is present, the system determines the image or voice is authentic and can verify an identity of the person. In some cases, the system can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

Tic detection-based video authentication method and system

A sound-based method and system of performing an authentication of a person in order to permit access to a secured resource is disclosed. The system and method are configured to transmit an audio signal to a remotely located smart device. When the smart device produces the audio signal, a nearby computing device captures the audio signal and provides the captured audio data to an authentication platform. The audio data is compared to the transmitted audio signal. The system can determine whether there is a match between the captured audio data and the transmitted audio data. If there is a match, the system verifies an identity of the person and can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

Audio token-based authentication method and system

A technique for selectively scrambling data obtained by electronic sensor devices, such as cameras, voice communication devices, and the like, is provided. A payload of the data is scrambled when one or more characteristics of the data indicate that the data may include sensitive information. The scrambled data is transmitted to a target device.

Systems and methods for selectively scrambling data

A technique for selectively sending encryption keys is provided that encrypts user data generated as a result of a user interacting with a user device. The encrypted user data may be sent to one or more target devices associated with a third party. When the one or more target devices are authorized to receive an encryption key, the encryption key to decrypt the encrypted user data may also be sent to the one or more target devices.

Systems and methods for selectively sending encryption keys

A termite detection and mitigation system can gather data describing conditions at a location, including the location's elevation, soil type, topography, weather conditions, and season. The termite detection and mitigation system can additionally obtain sensor data describing environmental conditions within a structure (e.g., a home or other building) at the location. Sensor data may be obtained using a termite sensing device placed within the structure. The termite detection and mitigation system can develop models that characterize how likely it is that termites are present within a structure based on its sensor data and associated location data. Using the models, the termite detection and mitigation system can alert users when there is a likelihood that termites are present. The termite detection and mitigation system can also deploy mitigation responses, such as poisons or sealants, to mitigate the termite intrusion.
