The present invention provides a wear liner assembly () adapted to be secured to a structure (). The wear liner assembly comprises a wear liner () having a first material secured to a backing plate (). The backing plate has at least one hole () therethrough. A first fastener portion is adapted to co-operate with a second fastener portion to securing the wear liner to the structure. The first fastener portion is received in the at least one hole and is at least partially housed within the wear liner.

Pulling the rodin an up-hole direction results in the rodmoving in a radial outward direction as they roll along the tapered portionto the location L. The balls now lie partially outside of the of the bodylocking the boltin the hole. Applying additional pulling force on the rod increases tension in the rod to intentionally cause a controlled break or separation of the rod into a first portionthat is withdrawn from the bore and a second portionthat remains in the bore and bearing against the balls

Nutless bolt

A lock nut assembly' has a first componentprovided with a threaded axial through hole; and a second componentprovided with an axial hole. The first and second componentsare detachably coupled together and arranged so that both components are simultaneously engagable with a common tool to effect application of the assembly&#x2032; onto a threaded memberby operation of the tool to impart torque to the assembly&#x2032; in a first direction. Lock nut assembly

A nutless bolt includes a body having a shaft and a stop coupled to the shaft. Shaft is dimensioned to allow passage through a hole formed in a structure into which the bolt is inserted. The stop prevents body from falling into or through the hole. An axial bore formed in body houses a locking mechanism extending radially from shaft to lock body and nutless bolt in the hole. An actuator pin movable along the bore in a generally down hole direction through various positions. Position Lis a pre-application position; position Lis a locking position; and position Lis a release position. Pin is movable in the down hole direction from Lwhere the pin causes the locking mechanism to extend radially from shaft to lock the body in the hole, to Lwhere the pin is retained in the body and displaced relative to the locking mechanism.

A fastener for fastening at least two work pieces together comprises a body and a pin. The body has a head, a shaft extending from the head and an open hollow core extending into the shaft. The shaft has a retaining means spaced from the head to accommodate the work pieces. The retaining mechanism has a contracted configuration where it is sized to pass through holes in the work pieces and an expanded configuration where it is expanded in size or spacing such that the shaft is unable to be removed from the holes in the work pieces. The retaining mechanism defines a constriction in the core at which the core has a first width when the retaining mechanism is in its contracted configuration. The pin is locatable in the core. The pin has a least a first portion with an external width greater than the first width of the core. The pin is movable within the core and is arranged to cause the retaining mechanism to change to the expanded configuration as the first portion of the pin moves into contact with the constriction.

A fastener system for fixing hardened plates includes a fastener element having a frusto-conical head and a threaded shaft portion, wherein a smallest outer diameter of the frusto-conical head is adjacent the threaded shaft, and a largest outer width of the shaft is smaller than a smallest diameter of the head.

A building structure (or') has a wall () including a plurality of wall elements (or&#x2032;). Each wall element is connected to a plurality of other wall elements so as to form the wall. Each wall element includes a connecting means for connecting the adjacent wall elements together to form the wall. The wall is formed at least three consecutively connected rings (orand) of interlocking wall elements. Each of the wall elements in each ring being of the same size. Each of the wall elements in a first ring of the consecutively connecting rings being larger than the wall elements of a second ring of the consecutively connected rings and each of the elements in the second ring being larger than the wall elements of a third ring of the consecutively connected rings.

Building structure

A building structure having a plurality of wall elements connecting together to form a wall is disclosed. The wall elements have a plurality of sides, each side is connected to an adjacent side of a wall element by an interlocking connection means. Methods of building a structure with the wall elements are also disclosed.

A dust retention system for locating above a product vessel includes a support member mounted above the product vessel, a door including an engaging portion detachably connected to the support member and an adjustment device for adjusting the angle of the door with respect to the support member. The door includes a striking portion adjacent the engaging portion with at least a section of the striking portion being constructed of a resiliently flexible material. Product falling onto the striking portion causes the resiliently flexible material of the striking portion to be deflected by the weight of the product, thereby forcing the door from a closed position, where dust is prohibited from escaping the product vessel, into an open position where the product passes across the door into the product vessel. Thereafter the door, without the weight of said product, returning to the closed position under a bias force exerted by said resiliently flexible material.
