A corrugation is provided in a polymeric liner configured for inflation against a rigid shape. The polymeric liner has a cylindrical wall with opposing inner and outer surfaces. The liner includes a first liner section having a plurality of annular corrugations. Each of the corrugations has a curved mountain region with a ridge, a curved valley between adjacent spaced apart mountain regions, and a side wall joining each successive mountain region and valley. A distance between successive ridges defines a period of the corrugations. The wall thickness of the liner at the ridge is greater than the wall thickness at the valley. A radial distance between the ridge and the valley defines an amplitude of the corrugations. The amplitude is between about 0.65 times the period and about 0.75 times said period T of the corrugations.

A pressure vessel and a method of manufacturing the pressure vessel is provided that reduces leaks in type IV pressure vessels having a liner with a corrugated section. The method includes providing a liner having a tubular portion having a corrugated section with circumferential corrugations providing alternating ridges and grooves arranged from one end to an opposing end of the corrugated section, applying a barrier to an outer surface of the corrugated section from one end to an opposing end of the corrugated section such that air voids are formed in annular cavities between the liner and the barrier; and applying resin to an outer surface of the barrier. The barrier prevents intrusion of the resin between the barrier and the liner in the corrugated section.

Methods of preventing failure of corrugated tube in type IV pressure vessels

Various technologies described herein pertain to an autonomous vehicle computing device for an autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle computing device includes a printed circuit board, a heat sink, and a thermal interface material layer between the printed circuit board and the heat sink. The autonomous vehicle computing device further includes a barrier layer between the thermal interface material layer and the printed circuit board. The thermal interface material layer can be formed of a two-part thermal interface material that cures in place. The barrier layer between the thermal interface material layer and the printed circuit board enables separation of the printed circuit board from the thermal interface material layer if reworking or modification of the autonomous vehicle computing device is desired. The barrier layer can enable the printed circuit board to be separated from the thermal interface material layer in a manner that mitigates damage to the printed circuit board.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed. An example coolant system can be configured in an autonomous vehicle. The system can include a first coolant loop configured with a first series of coolant hoses to communicate a first volume of coolant fluid between a first reservoir, a first coolant pump, a three-way heat exchanger, and a computer system heat exchanger and a second coolant loop configured with a second series of coolant hoses to communicate a second volume of coolant fluid between a second reservoir, a second coolant pump, the three way heat exchanger, and the computer system heat exchanger. The system can further include a third coolant loop configured with a third series of coolant hoses to communicate third volume of coolant fluid between the three-way heat exchanger and an engine heat exchanger of the vehicle.

The subject disclosure relates to a water-tight sealed stud assembly for high current applications. The water-tight sealed stud assembly can include a stud, a sealing ring, a sleeve, and a body. The stud may have a stud base and a thickened portion having an annular groove. The sealing ring may be disposed in the annular groove. The sleeve may be disposed circumferentially around the stud and made of a conductive material. The body may be disposed circumferentially around the sleeve and made of a non-conductive material. Systems and methods are also provided.
