A method for connecting tubes includes fastening a position locator to an outer surface of a tube at a predetermined depth from a first end of a tube such that at least one ferrule abuts a flange of the position locator between the first end of the tube and the position locator. A tube connector assembly is formed by introducing a compression nut such that an inner wall of the compression nut surrounds the position locator and the at least one ferrule. A fitting body is introduced via the first end of the tube. The tube connector assembly is fastened to the fitting body using a first threading on the inner wall of the compression nut and a second threading on an outer wall of the fitting body such that the at least one ferrule is between the compression nut and the fitting body.

A door switch system is provided for energy saving in a refrigerator. The door switch system comprises a light detector, a first switch, and a second switch. The light detector is disposed in the storage space. The first switch is configured for switching the cooling fan according to an output from the light detector detecting external light. The second switch is configured for switching the storage-space light according to an output from the light detector detecting external light. When a door to the storage space is opened and the output is a first output indicating an open state of the door, the first switch is off to stop the cooling fan and the second switch is on to turn on the storage-space light. The light detector may detect the external light outside the storage space and provide the first or second output to the first and second switches.

A dust cleaning device for condenser of cooler is provided. Since the dust from outside is attached to the condenser due to ventilation and they become one of reasons for compressor failure, the device is configured to clean the heat exchange fin of the condenser periodically, in which a wire winch and a cleaning brush is connected to a driving axle of a driving motor such that the cleaning brush performs up-and-down motion and rotation with a power of the driving motor and cleans the heat exchange fin. In other structure, pinion and rack can be connected to the driving axle to perform the up-and-down motion. The cleaning brush is made of textile or unwoven fabric. Furthermore, the cleaning brush further includes a plurality of long brush portions protruding above the cleaning brush.

An ice cream dipping cabinet includes a cabinet portion, a machine room portion, a cooling room portion, a hot-air vent, a L-shaped recess portion, and a cold-air intake. The cabinet portion provides an inner compartment. The machine room portion is installed in a lower portion of the inner compartment of the cabinet portion. The cooling room portion is cooled by refrigeration and accessible through the top opening. The hot-air vent is provided through the rear wall of the cabinet portion, and the hot-air vent vents hot air from the machine room portion to outside. The L-shaped recess portion is provided between the front wall and the bottom floor of the cabinet portion, and the L-shaped recess portion comprises a horizontal surface and a vertical surface. The cold-air intake is provided through the L-shaped recess portion, and the cold-air intake guides cold air from outside to the machine room portion.

A cleaning brush device for a condenser of refrigerator comprising a condenser and a cleaning brush is provided. The condenser comprises a cooling fin grid of rows of horizontal fins and columns of vertical fins. The cleaning brush sweeps horizontally and vertically over the cooling fin grid in a predetermined period of time and brushes off the dust bunny collected in the cooling fin grid. The predetermined period of time is controlled according to amount of the dust bunny on the cooling fin grid. The cleaning brush may sweep the grid horizontally and vertically in a systematical way.

A pressure equalizing device for refrigerators, having a chamber, a door on the front wall of the chamber, an evaporator, and an evaporator defrost heater, is provided. The pressure equalizing device includes a pressure relief valve, an installation hole, and a deicing device for the pressure relief valve. The pressure relief valve connects the inside and outside of the chamber, and includes an inner end and an outer end. The installation hole is perforated on one of the walls of the chamber. The pressure relief valve equalizes the pressure inside and outside of the chamber to facilitate the opening of the door. The pressure relief valve includes an operation switch, and the operation switch is activated by the opening of the door. The pressure relief valve is disposed over deicing device, and the deicing device melts ice formed on the inner end of the pressure relief valve.

A refrigerator includes a storage space that is cooled by a refrigerant, a compressor that compresses the refrigerant, and a condensate evaporation device. The condensate evaporation device includes a container that contains condensate that flows out of the storage space, a heat exchange device that is adapted to exchange heat between the refrigerant and the condensate, a chamber that is positioned above the container, a condensate spraying device that is adapted to spray condensate within the chamber and a blower that induces air flow within the chamber, so that evaporated condensate is exhausted from the chamber. The condensate evaporation device is positioned adjacent the compressor, and air out of the chamber is guide to the compressor.

A refrigerator with weighing scale includes a refrigerator and a weighing scale. The refrigerator includes a chamber with top, bottom, front, rear, side surfaces, and a control board, and the weighing scale is attached to the bottom surface of the refrigerator. The weighing scale is retractable from under the bottom surface of the refrigerator. The weighing scale includes a digital scale. The digital scale includes a stepping pad and a display for showing the weight. The display of the digital scale is disposed on the control board of the refrigerator, and the display is electronically connected to the remaining portion of the digital scale. The display on the control board of the refrigerator is turned on by stepping on the stepping pad of the weighing scale, by a control switch provided on the control board, or by being pulled out from under the bottom surface of the refrigerator.
