Systems for collecting light (e.g., in a flow stream) are described. Light collection systems according to embodiments include: a mount having an orifice for receiving light, an adapter configured for attaching a camera to the mount and a fastener for attaching a lens to the distal end of the mount and a releasably attachable connecter that is configured for coupling to an orifice plate and an aligner that is configured to couple with an aligner on the mount and maintain optical alignment between the mount and connector. Methods for coupling a connector and a mount are also described. Systems and methods for measuring light emitted by a sample (e.g., in a flow stream) are also provided.

Light collection systems and methods for making and using thereof

A device for removably mounting an accessory to a vehicle can include a mount configured to engage at least a portion of the vehicle. A base can be fixedly attached to at least a portion of the mount. A top can be rotatably attached to at least a portion of the base. At least a portion of the top can be attachable to at least a portion of the accessory. A gasket can be positioned between the base and the top. At least one fastener can extend through at least a portion the top, through the base and into at least a portion of the mount. The fastener can be configured to restrict movement of the top, the base and the mount along at least one axis.

Mounting device for one or more accessories and method of using same

A device and method for attaching an accessory to an object includes a housing defining a cavity configured to receive at least a portion of the accessory. A base may be attached to at least a portion of the housing. The base includes at least one of a groove and a projection. The device may also include at least two bands. A first one of the bands surrounds at least a portion of the housing and is configured to secure the accessory within the cavity of the housing. The first one of the bands may be removable from the housing. At least a portion of a second one of the bands may be positioned within the groove or may contact the projection. The second one of the bands and the base combine to secure the device to an object.

Mounting device

A device for removably mounting an accessory to a vehicle includes a chassis. The chassis includes a first end, an opposing second end, at least one leg extending therebetween, and an accessory interface located proximate the first end of the chassis. The leg includes at least one hole extending therethrough. At least one fastening mechanism extends into at least a portion of the hole of the leg. At least one accessory mount is configured to releasably engage at least a portion of the accessory interface of the chassis.
