A system for regulating the temperature of a light source positioned within a liner soaked in resin and installed within an underground pipeline. The system measures the temperature of light emitting diodes supported on the light source as the light source is pulled through the liner to cure the resin. The system is configured to automatically stop the curing process and subsequently step down the power level and the rate of travel of the light source each time a designated temperature threshold is reached. Power is indefinity shut down to the light source if a maximum temperature is reached.

Dynamic temperature regulation system for a light head

An electrochemical water treatment apparatus includes a treatment chamber formed by at least one wall and having an opening formed along the side for substantially the length of the treatment chamber, with a mounting plate applied to the opening. A set of cathodes and anodes are mounted to the mounting plate and positioned inside the chamber, each of the anodes having at least one cathode positioned on each of the two sides of the respective anode. At least two anode bus bars and two cathode bus bars are provided, each bus bar connectable to the power supply and connected to the respective electrodes near a respective end of the electrodes. An inlet adapter has a smaller cross sectional area at the first end connected to the treatment chamber inlet end, and a larger cross sectional area at the opposite end connected to the source of water to be treated. An outlet adapter has a smaller cross sectional area at the first end connected to the treatment chamber outlet end, and a larger cross sectional area at the second end connected to the destination for the treated water.

Configuration for electrochemical water treatment

A cell for direct treatment of liquid using electrolysis uses a modular construction of electrode plates and spacer assemblies positioned between end plates. Changes in the liquid flow capacity of the cell may be made by changing the number of module housing sections and electrode plate assemblies. The design includes electrode plates that lock into a mating module housing section to resist the pressure of the fluid being treated. The design further provides for multiple fluid flow paths and for automatic cleaning of the cell using standard clean-in-place methods.
