Specifically, a device includes a flexible connection component that includes a set of conductive filaments that connect a set of electrodes (or traces connected to the electrodes) and circuitry that receives and/or transmits electronic signals from and/or to the electrodes.

The current document is directed to various types of oscillating resonant modules ('ORMs'), including linear-resonant vibration modules, that can be incorporated in a wide variety of appliances, devices, and systems to provide vibrational forces. The vibrational forces are produced ley back-and-forth oscillation of a weight or member along a path, generally a segment of a space curve. A controller controls each of one or more ORMs to produce driving oscillations according to a control curve or control pattern for the ORM that specifies the frequency of the driving oscillations with respect to time. The driving oscillations, in turn, elicit a desired vibration response in the device, appliance, or system in which the one or more ORMs are included. The desired vibration response is achieved by selecting and scaling control patterns in view of known resonance frequencies of the device, appliance, or system.

Each beacon may transmit a signal representing an event related to patient compliance with a medication regimen, such as removal of a packet of medication from a bundle or opening of a packet. Methods and systems are provided for simulating neuromodulation therapy. An identification of a particular neuromodulation-therapy implant device, an identification of a particular neuromodulation-therapy algorithm, and subject records corresponding to a subject may be received. neuromodulation-therapy simulator may execute to generated predicted performance metric for the particular neuromodulation-therapy implant device. The predicted performance may correspond to predicted physiological responses of the subject when the particular neuromodulation-therapy algorithm is executed by the particular neuromodulation-therapy implant device. The predicted performance metrics may be output.

Neuromodulation therapy simulator

Systems and methods are provided for stimulating one or more nerves with an implantable device. The implantable device may comprise an antenna circuit including a loop antenna and a control circuit including a rectifying diode for rectifying an alternating voltage induced in the antenna circuit by an external electromagnetic field. The implantable device may also include a chargeable storage element for storing energy from the rectified voltage without using a battery. The device may also include an electrode array containing a set of electrodes for emitting an electric field using the stored energy in response to a control signal received from the control circuit. The components of the device may be affixed onto a soft polymer substrate including a linkable peripheral tab on at least two edges of a substantially rectangular body section of the substrate for forming a cuff about the one or more nerves to be stimulated.

Nerve stimulation systems and methods using an external wireless power source

An electrode system for neuromodulation and for recording of signals indicative of nerve activity is provided. The system can include a plurality of electrodes provided on a flexible, non-conductive substrate. The substrate can be rolled into a cuff for encircling a nerve bundle of a patient. The plurality of electrodes on the cuff can be interconnected using flexible conductors provided on the substrate. In one implementation, the electrodes can be interconnected using conductors that have spring-like configuration. Flexibility of the conductors allows the cuff to expand and contract with the nerve without causing excessive stress/strain at the nerve-cuff interface.

A neuromodulation-therapy design interface may provide a representation of the neuromodulation-therapy implant device. A selection if a particular representation of a particular neuromodulation-therapy implant device may be received. Hardware characteristics of the particular neuromodulation-therapy implant device may be used to determine constraints of the implant device. A listing of neuromodulation-therapy parameters that is constraining according to the constraints may be presented. In response to a selection of a parameter, executable software code corresponding to a specific implementation of a neuromodulation-therapy algorithm may be generated. The executable software code may be transmitted to a computing device compatible with the specific implementation.

Neuromodulation therapy development environment

Methods and systems are provided for updating neuromodulation-therapy algorithms. Sensor data may be received from a subject monitoring device that includes one or more sensors. A state of the subject within a directed-cyclic state diagram may be retrieved along with a current neuromodulation-therapy algorithm that corresponds to the state. Based on the sensor data and the current neuromodulation-therapy algorithm, a new state of the subject may be determined, the new state including an update to the current neuromodulation-therapy algorithm for the subject. In response to determining the new state, a wireless transmission that includes an identification of the new state and the update neuromodulation-therapy algorithm may be initiated to the implant device associated with the subject.

The present disclosure relates to implantable neuromodulation devices and methods of fabrication, and in particular to a thin-film electrode assemblies and methods of fabricating the thin-film electrode assembly to include a soft overmold. Particularly, aspects of the present invention are directed to a thin-film electrode assembly that includes an overmold and a supporting structure formed within a portion of the overmold. The overmold includes a first polymer and the supporting structure includes a second polymer, different from the first polymer. The thin-film electrode assembly also includes a wire formed within a portion of the supporting structure, and an electrode formed on a top surface of the supporting structure and in electrical contact with the wire.
