A differential includes a driven body, an output element, and a clutch assembly radially interposed between the driven body and the output element. The clutch assembly includes a first wedge clutch configured to rotationally lock the output element to the driven body in a first direction and to overrun in a second direction, and a second wedge clutch configured to rotationally lock the output element to the driven body in the second direction and to overrun in the first direction.

A pump, including: inner gerotor; a crankshaft; an outer gerotor; an inlet assembly with inlet ports; an outlet assembly with outlet ports; and magnetic actuators. The inner gerotor includes lobes and a central opening. The crankshaft: passes through the central opening; is rotatable about an axis of rotation; and includes a first longitudinal axis not co-linear with the axis of rotation. The outer gerotor includes recesses. The magnetic actuators are sequentially energized to create magnetic fields to displace the inner gerotor with respect to the crankshaft to: displace a first lobe out of a first recess and draw fluid through an inlet port into the first recess; and displace a second lobe into a second recess and expel second fluid out of the second recess and through an outlet port.

A friction plate is provided. The friction plate includes a core plate including a plurality of cutouts extending axially therethrough; a plurality of friction material segments, each of the segments being received in one of the cutouts; and at least one connector affixing the frictional material segments in place in the cutouts to form a mechanical connection between the friction material segments and the core plate. A method of forming a friction plate for a clutch is also provided. The method includes attaching a plurality of friction material segments to a core plate including a plurality of cutouts extending axially therethrough by inserting each of the friction material segments into one of the cutouts and affixing the friction material segments in place with at least one connector to form a mechanical connection between the friction material segments and the core plate.

A selector bracket assembly for a one way clutch assembly comprising an annular body portion having: first and second radial surfaces; an inner circumferential surface, connecting the first and second radial surfaces; at least one cutout portion; at least one axially extending post adjacent to the at least one cutout portion; and, an outer circumferential surface including a plurality of radially outward extending tabs; and, at least one actuator pin disposed radially outward of the inner circumferential surface and arranged for engagement with the selector bracket assembly to lock a one way clutch. A switchable one way clutch assembly having said selector bracket, or at least two selector brackets for making selectable the following states: free wheel or locked in both the first and second opposing circumferential directions; locked in first and free wheel in second circumferential direction; and, free wheel in first and locked in second circumferential direction.
