Battery tester housing

In various implementations, a housing for a battery tester may include a body with a first side and an opposing second side. The first side may include a presentation member, such as a screen and an input member. The screen may include a touch screen and/or the input member may include a keypad, such as a keypad with arrows. The second side may be magnetic such that the battery tester can be coupled to a magnetic surface. The second side may, in some implementations, include holster(s) that allows clamps to be stored in the holster. The holster(s) may be removable.

Magnetic battery tester housing

An electronic battery tester or battery charger for testing or charging a storage battery including electrical connectors configured to electrically couple to a terminals of the storage battery. Circuitry couples to the electrical connectors and is configured to test or charge the storage battery. An input signal is received related to a battery which is suitable for use with the vehicle.

Vehicle battery maintenance device

A battery tester includes a pair of battery clamps, a testing unit, and a pair of holsters. Each battery clamp is configured to connect to a terminal of a battery. The testing unit includes testing circuitry that is connected to the battery clamps, and is configured to perform one or more battery tests on a battery connected to the battery clamps. Each of the holsters is attached to a housing of the testing unit, and is configured to receive and hold one of the battery clamps.

A battery ecosystem may provide electronic components including a reserve capacity tester (RCT) module, a handheld battery and electrical system analyzer (handheld tester), a tester charger, a wireless gateway router modem or hub (hub), a printer, wireless tire tread measuring device, a handheld route sales manager device (RSM), a battery monitoring device, and/or serialized labels, and a Sales/Information/POP kiosk. The hub may communicate with the electronic components, and the battery monitor may constantly read input and output information from a battery and communicate it to the hub and the serialized labels may provide a significant amount of information to the battery ecosystem.
