A method disclosed. The method includes downloading a first print job data stream from a cloud computing network, transmitting the first print job data stream to a printer, monitoring a printing status of the printer to determine when the printer is ready to receive a second print job and downloading a second print job data stream from the cloud computing network upon determining that the printer is ready to receive the second print job.

Print processing network

For accessing a database, a request attribute module constructs a request attribute list for a data value name received in a request block. The request attribute list associates the data value name with an attribute name and with a schema name. A schema name module adds the schema name from the request attribute list to a schema names list in response to the schema name not being included in the schema names list. An attribute name module adds the attribute name from the request attribute list to an attribute names list in response to the attribute name not being included in the attribute names list. A query build module builds a query statement directed to a target database from the schema names list and the attribute names list.

Accessing a database

A printing system is disclosed. The printing system includes a first printer to print a first barcode on a medium including variable to be printed on the medium and a second printer to print the variable data to the medium based on the first barcode and to print a second barcode to the medium for verification that the variable data has been accurately printed to the medium.

Variable data print verification mechanism

Improved printing architectures and associated methods are disclosed for printing enclosures in substantially real-time for insertion with a document in a mail piece. The printing architecture allows for virtual enclosure bins in place of or in addition to actual enclosure bins. When a virtual enclosure bin is referenced in a document print job, an enclosure image is identified for the virtual enclosure bin and is printed in substantially real-time to generate an enclosure. The enclosure for the virtual enclosure bin may then be inserted with the document in the mail piece.

Virtual enclosure bins in printing architectures

A method of optimizing mail sorting on a envelope sorting machine by eliminating the necessity to pass some of the documents through the machine twice is provided in which a postal code table is created having an order for each of a plurality of postal code ranges. An unsorted document print stream is received and a document parameter table created to store boundaries of each of a plurality of documents and a location of a postal code in each document. An index table is constructed incorporating information from the postal code table indicating the location and order of each document in the unsorted document print stream. The index table is reordered according to the order of each document and a sorted document print stream is generated, whereby the documents are arranged in order of their respective priorities. The documents are then printed from the sorted document print stream, separated into groups in accordance with their respective priorities and sorted in order of each group's respective order.

Sorting optimization of documents for mailing

A printing system is disclosed. The printing system includes a first printer to print a first type of data to a medium and to print a first barcode on the medium including variable to be printed on the medium and a second printer to print the variable data to the medium based on the first barcode and to print a second barcode to the medium for verification that the variable data has been accurately printed to the medium.

An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for accessing a database. Apparatus, system, and method for accessing a database

A method and system for scanning a set of documents is disclosed. The set of documents to be scanned are in an organizational format wherein groups of the documents are separated by barriers. The method and system include displaying a set of logical entities that represent the barriers to an operator of a scanner; and associating scanned images of the documents with at least one of the logical entities. The method and system further include using the association of the logical entities to store the scanned images, such that the organizational format of the documents is retained.
