A connector assembly includes a male housing having at least one coaxial cavity and terminal cavities. At least one female housing is shaped to be disposed in the male housing when in a connected position. The at least one female housing includes a corresponding coaxial cavity relative to the male housing and corresponding terminal cavities relative to the male housing. At least one front loaded male terminal position assurance structure is disposed in the male housing. At least one front loaded female terminal position assurance structure is connected to the at least one female housing. The front loaded male and female terminal position assurance structures lock coaxial connections and terminal connections within the male and female housings when in the connected position.

Wire connector with integrated coaxial connection and front loaded terminal position assurance structures

A connector () includes a housing () with a terminal receiving cavity () and a wire receptacle () communicating with the terminal receiving cavity (). The wire receptacle () includes at least one V-shaped wire support () for supporting a wire () at two circumferentially spaced positions on the wire (). A cover () is mounted to the housing () and has at least one resiliently deflectable strain relief beam () that biases the wire () into the wire receptacle ().

Variable wire strain relief connector

A connector (M) includes a terminal fitting accommodation member (), made of synthetic resin, which accommodates a plurality of terminal fittings () and a tube (), produced separately from the terminal fitting accommodation member (), a front end of which is mounted in a mounting hole (H) of a panel. The connector (M) is constructed by mounting the terminal fitting accommodation member () on the tube ().

Connector

A panel connector is provided for mounting in an aperture through the panel. The connector includes a housing with a front end dimensioned and configured to pass through the aperture in the panel. A resiliently deflectable clip is mounted to the housing and has a panel lock that deflects during mounting of the housing onto the panel. The panel lock then returns resiliently to engage the panel when the housing is mounted. A CPA piece is pre-assembled to the clip at a pre-staged position that permits the clip to deflect during mounting on the panel. The CPA piece then is pushed to a final lock position for preventing deflection of the clip.

Panel-mounted connector

A connector () has a body () with an outwardly projecting flange spaced rearward from the front end () of the body (). Wide mounting slots () extend through the flange (). A seal () has a frame-shaped body () mounted over the front end () of the body () and against the flange (). Attachment tabs () project back from the frame-shaped body () and through the mounting slots (). The attachment tabs () have a length greater than their width and a width greater than their thickness. Portions of the attachment tabs () rearward of the attachment tabs () rearward of and adjacent to the flange () are wide than the mounting slots () for holding the seal () on the housing ().
