A resistance regulating device for a wheel of a training device is disclosed. The resistance regulating device comprises a rotary mechanism pivotally connected with a stationary mechanism and a motor with other components to rotate the rotary mechanism and hence a distance between magnets of the rotary mechanism and the wheel is changed. In addition, an optical detection device may be used to detect and define a minimum resistance and a maximum resistance and hence to adjust a resistance in a stepless manner. An emergency brake mechanism may be further employed.

The present disclosure is directed to recumbent exercise machines and associated systems and methods. In one embodiment, for example, a recumbent exercise apparatus can include a seat, two linear guide tracks forward of the seat, and two pedal assemblies movably coupled to corresponding linear guide tracks positioned forward of the seat. The pedal assemblies can be configured to move back and forth along the linear guide tracks. The recumbent exercise apparatus can further include linear actuators operably coupled to each of the linear guide tracks and configured to move the linear guide tracks up and down in a vertical direction. The pedal assemblies can be configured to move in elliptical patterns when the pedal assemblies move back and forth along the linear guide tracks and the linear actuators move the linear guide tracks up and down.

Recumbent exercise machines and associated systems and methods

An exercise device comprises a flywheel, a driving assembly, and a control assembly. The driving assembly drives the flywheel to rotate. The control assembly comprises an angle sensor for measuring the change of angular displacement of the flywheel during a specific period of time. The control assembly calculates the angular velocity or the angular acceleration of the flywheel by the measured angular displacement during the specific period of time. The control assembly determines if the flywheel is to be stopped according to at least a criterion.

Exercise device providing automatic braking

A treadmill is capable of performing a gait analysis and comprises a conveyor belt, a supporting plate, a driving mechanism, and at least two sensing assemblies. The conveyor belt is used for a user to walk or run in place. The driving mechanism drives the conveyor belt to run. The supporting plate supports the conveyor belt. The two sensing assemblies are fixed with the supporting plate, for respectively sensing the user's left and right heel strike. A left and right pulse diagram thus can be obtained from the sensing assemblies, and the gait analysis is performed according to the left and right pulse diagram.

An exercise device comprises a flywheel, a driving assembly, a magnet, and an analysis module. The driving assembly drives the flywheel to rotate and comprises two pedals. The user drives the flywheel via the pedals. The analysis module employs an angle sensor and a hall sensor to calculate a symmetry index of the user.

A treadmill comprises a base, a first frame, a second frame, and a driving assembly. The base allows a user to walk or run in place. The first frame and the second frame pivotally couple with a front portion and a rear portion of the base, respectively. The driving assembly moveably couples with the first frame and the second frame. The moving of the driving assembly between the first frame and the second frame will result in an elevation of the front portion or the rear portion.

Treadmill

An elliptical trainer comprises a base, a rotational mechanism, a left and a right coupling mechanism, and a rising device. The rotational mechanism is arranged on the base. The left and right coupling mechanisms are arranged at a side of the rotational mechanism, respectively. One end of the left and right coupling mechanism couples to the rotational mechanism, and the other couples to a pedal making a moving path. The rising device comprises a frame, two guiders, at least a ladder component, and a driving assembly. The driving assembly comprises a motor, a screw, a tube, a linkage component, and a cable. The tube has internal thread to engage with the screw. The linkage component couples with the tube, and the cable couples with the linkage component and the ladder component.

Elliptical trainer

According to an embodiment of this invention, a treadmill is disclosed with a conveyor belt, two assistance devices, and at least a first control member. The two assistance devices are respectively arranged at a side of the conveyor belt with each assistance device comprising a handrail and two supporting bars, and each supporting bar couples to the handrail via a connecting assembly. The first control member is used to lock or release the connecting assembly, so as to adjust the distance between the two handles of the two assistance devices.

A fitness equipment bracket adjustment structure includes an adjustable sliding bracket including a base member defining therein a sliding groove, a sliding member coupled to and movable in and out of the sliding groove of the base member and a positioning member fixedly fastened to a sidewall of the base member and kept in communication with the sliding groove, and a locking device set including an anti-skid block mounted between the sliding member and the positioning member and defining a stop portion detachably abutted against the sliding member of the adjustable sliding bracket, a connection member inserted through a through hole of the anti-skid block, a coupling member fixedly connected to the connection member and threaded with its one end into the positioning member and a handle coupled to the other end of the coupling member and rotatable relative to the coupling member.

An exercise machine includes a base, an axle rotationally supported on the base and two cranks connected to the axle. The cranks are rotational synchronously with the axle. A drive wheel unit includes an active wheel provided on the axle so that the active wheel is rotational synchronously with the cranks. A passive wheel unit includes a load wheel supported on the axle so that the load wheel is rotational relative to the axle and a passive connected to the load wheel so that the passive wheel is rotational synchronously with the load wheel. A step-up device includes a shaft rotationally supported on the base and small and large wheels connected to the shaft so that they are rotational synchronously. The small wheel is connected to the active wheel so that they are rotational together. The large wheel is connected to the passive wheel so that they are rotational together.

Stationary exercise machines having adjustable incline systems are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, for example, an elliptical exercise machine includes a system for adjusting the inclination of foot support guide tracks. The incline adjustment system can include a lift member that operates between the guide tracks and the floor on which the exercise machine is placed.
