An antenna platter comprises a plurality of antenna elements arranged as a thin array according to a polygonal grid. The polygonal grid comprises a plurality of paired polygons arranged symmetrically about a central polygon of the grid. In each polygon of the grid, the plurality of antenna elements is arranged in symmetrical pairs about a center point such that the first and second antenna elements of each symmetrical pair are complex conjugates of one another.

In one embodiment, a gimbaled reflector antenna is provided that includes: a Dragonian antenna having a sub-reflector and a main reflector; a feed; a third reflector adapted to reflect a beam from the feed to the sub reflector; an azimuth gimbal adapted to rotate the Dragonian antenna with respect to the third reflector; and an elevation gimbal adapted to rotate the flat reflector with respect to the feed.

Gridded reflector antenna

The present invention discloses a method for generating multiple antenna beams and a system for generating multiple antenna beams. The system comprises a first reflector surface that has a primary and at least a first auxiliary surface, and a second reflector surface, and also comprises first, second, and third feed horns. The first feed horn illuminates the primary surface with radio frequency (RF) energy, the second feed horn illuminates the auxiliary surface with RF energy, and the third feed horn illuminates the second reflector surface with RF energy. The first feed horn and third feed horn are removed from an axis of symmetry of the first auxiliary surface. The method comprises illuminating a primary portion of a first reflector surface with radio frequency (RF) energy from a first feed horn, illuminating an auxiliary portion of the first reflector surface with RF energy from a second feed horn, illuminating a second reflector surface with RF energy from a third feed horn, wherein the first feed horn and third feed horn are removed from an axis of symmetry of the auxiliary portion of the first reflector surface.

An antenna system having a rotatable and scannable reconfigurable shaped reflector with a movable feed system. The antenna system allows beam shapes to be rotated about an optimum axis and defocused while a spacecraft is in orbit in order to change a particular coverage pattern for the spacecraft.

The second reflector receives the reflected incident signal from the first reflector and comprises a first reflective surface for reflecting the first signal and a second reflective surface for reflecting the second signal.

In profile, the user's body takes on the angles found in the profile of the neutral body position. In the ventral view, the user's body has the same angles as in the savasana yoga position.
